yung tinanong ko po sa inyo kagabi about our passports, may follow up questions pa po ako sana:

sa husband ko po: mag eexpire ng Jan 15. 2014

yung sakin po: maiden name ko pa ang nakalagay so hindi pa nag aappear dun ang surname ng husband ko. expiration is 2016 pa po

okay na po ba hindi na kami mag renew pareho for the entire duration of the application process? or kailangan po talaga mag renew? lalo na ako, kasi hindi pa surname ng husband ko ang gamit ko? May impact po ba yun? Or pwede ko pa yun gamitin until makarating ng Australia?

Medyo worried lang po ako kung saang period within the application process pwede pa ako mag renew ng passport. Pero pag mag renew ako, mababago lahat ng details di ba po? From EOI, to Application forms.

Pero kung pwede nman na hindi na ako mag renew, better yet di ko na lang irenew para wala nang changes na gagawin. Tama po ba?

1. Your Husband's passport - valid until Jan 15, 2014 , yes pwdeng pwede po.. pag naisubmit nyo EOI nyo ngaun.. at nainvite kayo agad at na-approved kayo agad.. assuming hindi aabot ang process ng end ng Dec 2013.. processing time is around 2-3 months.. max na 6 months... so by June 2013 may visa na kayo.... AFTER ma-grant ang visa, you need to fill-up a form to change details of hubby's passport and send it to your CO, para hindi hassle sa airport/pag-travel..

kung umabot man ang processing nyo at nag-expire na ang passport, pwede nyo pa ring gawin ang pag-fill-up ng FORM 929 Change of address and/or passport details, change your passport details and send to your CO..

2. Your Passport with maiden name - again, okay lang din po yan., dahil valid pa naman.. ang mga de-facto (not married) relationship nga po ay tinatanggap sa Australia, so meaning ang mga passport nila ay maiden name din.. you have a proof . "your marriage certificate".. so walang kaso sa maiden name in passport..

kung umabot man ang processing nyo at nag-expire na ang passport, pwede nyo pa ring gawin ang pag-fill-up ng FORM 929 Change of address and/or passport details, change your passport details and send to your CO..

If I may share lang - my wife and myself lodged our visa application with different family names in our passport... Walang problema naman and no questions asked, we just supplied the marriage certificate.

after visa grant, yes, same form to change your passport details.
opo, yun na rin gamitin nyo pagtravel... pwede pong hindi na rin kayo magpapalit ng passport..
pwede din namang magpapalit after na ma renew ang visa.. sympre kung mapalit kayo ng passport to have your husband's surname, you need to inform them (DIAC) again.. you can use the same form.

kasi sa AU, aapply ka sa mga embassy, tapos sa pinas din naman gagawin at manggagaling ang new passport nyo..

Hi @lock_code2004, nag EOI na po kami ngayon.

May questions po ako:

Wala po ba talagang fields dun to input names of Partner, Other Family Members? May question lang po kung ilan ang isasamang dependent, pero wala nman kami inenter na name ko dun. Name lang po ng husband ko ang hiningi.
Yung IELTS Test Reference Number po ba eh yung Test Report Form Number na makikita sa pinakababa ng IELTS Result?

3.Yung reference number/receipt number po ba sa Skills Assessment eh yung COntact ID from Engineers Australia? Wala na po kami makitang ibang Reference number sa Assessment Letter namin from Engineers Australia kaya yun ang nilagay namin. Tama po ba?

May lalabas po ba talaga sa Summary of Points na Years of experience in Nominated Occupation - in Australia within the last 10 years. kahit "NO" nman ang sagot namin dito? Although 0 points nman po sya sa summary.

Hi @psychoboy, ahh kahit nasa Australia na po kayo, hindi sya magpaparenew ng passport? As in hindi na sya magpapalit ng surname nyo, ever?

Patulong naman po sa pagsagot ng form 80. Meron kc question dun na "Have you travelled to any countries other than Australia, including any visits back to your country of citizenship during the past 10 years (including short stays)?". Seaman po kc ung hubby ko at world wide po and byahe nila. Madaming bansa na po ang napunthan nya at kadalasan ilang days lang sila sa isang lugar. Ilalagay pa po ba lahat ng bansang napunthan nya? Parang ang dami po kc...

</blockquote>Wala pa po, not unless you will be claiming for the Partner points, dun lang po mag-aappear ng details ang Partner to indicate ung IELTS at Skilled Assessment. Think of it this way, the EOI is simply a declaration which points you will be claiming to achieve the minimum of 60 pts, thus if you are not after the partner points there will be no need to mentioned.

Anyway, in the DIAC application later on you will be providing all the family member details in there. <blockquote rel="peach17">4. </blockquote>Hmmm... during the declaration of EACH nominated occupation, there is a dropdown button to indicate whether it's outside or within Australia (or similar to that effect). Usually, they are separated from each other in the Summary of Points. You should have noticed this when the time you filled up the form.

Before you applied for EOI, you have already computed the points to be claimed right? If they don't tally together, then something must be wrong with your EOI. This is one way to check if you have correctly filled up the form.

Anyway, you can still edit pa naman the EOI and then resubmit again. 🙂

1) EOI - you will only need details of the primary, and anything related to your claimed points

2) Once invited for the visa application, that is the only time you will enter all other details, pimary, secondary, dependents and even other family members..

Nagulat lang kami bakit may lumabas na "Years of experience in Nominated Occupation - in Australia within the last 10 years" dun sa summary BUT with 0 point naman po.

Nagtaka kami kasi sa lahat nman ng questions related to Study or Work Experience in Australia - NO nman po ang sagot namin.

Eto po ang naka indicate sa Letter we received from Engineers Australia:

" Your above qualification has been assessed as broadly comparable to an Australian Bachelor degree for the purposes of awarding points..."
