advice po kasi ng karamihan na dpat ilagay ang middle name sa given name, e di ko po nalagay akin sa EOI ko po, magkakaproblema kaya yan sa pag grant ng visa?

Try searching "middle name" here sa forum, this was a topic before and may mga na-grant nang walang nilagay na middle name. I forget the details lang and what year yung comment na yun, but yeah try searching it here.

Skills assessment muna. Medyo madugo yung pag-gather ng documents for it so okay din na mag-prepare as soon as you can. Yung PTE, pwede mo siya i-take habang nagpprocess yung skills assessment mo, or after mo makuha result. Depende sayo yan, basta ready siya bago ka mag-lodge ng EOI, since need mo ilagay details ng English exam mo sa EOI. (ROI, not sure)

For you to be eligible for the award of these points your partner must be an applicant for the same visa subclass and must not be an Australian permanent resident or an Australian citizen.**

If meron syang enough work experience naman, possible pa din makakuha ng positive assessment for his current occupation. Madami naman din ang nag work na hindi related sa degree nila.

Specifically, dapat yung nominated job code ni partner mo is eligible for the visa that you are eyeing for. To verify this, go to the Skilled Occupation list: https://immi.homeaffairs.gov.au/visas/working-in-australia/skill-occupation-list

Dun sa "List" at "Visa" columns dapat same kayo na partner mo na pasok sa banga. 😃

Regarding your partner's skills assessment, unang una dapat na gawin nyo ay pumili ng closest na job code to his career episodes. Malalaman nyo yung assessing body dun rin sa Skilled Occupation list above. Kung ikaw ang main applicant, need lang naman nya ang positive assessment para makaclaim ka ng extra 5pts pa (bukod sa English competency na 5pts rin kung at least Competent level). Marami naman na graduate ng certain discipline pero hindi naman nag practice in the same industry and got positive assessment result. So, you can still try exploring that.

For my case, NSW lang ung nag positive. If I had a choice, I would choose Tasmania since it's a colder region and I feel it's a bit underrated. Then Victoria next, 3rd choice ko lang ang NSW to be honest. haha

Magtatanong lang sana ako on how to start or make an entry in the Skilled Immigration Visa process. I believe I have made sufficient research and want to finally ask questions specific sa case namin.

Here is our situation: I am a Software Engineer working for 12 years in PH with a spouse also working the same as me for around 7 years. We have 2 kids under 5 years old. We can both claim those years to our nominated skill and I can claim 25pts for the age while my spouse can get 30. We both do not have any work experience inside AU but I've been working with an AU company for the past year through a consulting company here in PH.

I know some of these are dumb questions, but here they are:

Anong strategy or entry ang pwede kong gawin for my family?
I know I should submit my qualifications for assessment to ACS. Separate ba ang application for spouse or is it a single application for the two of us?
I can't find anything for this, so how can I apply for EOI for my family? Will my spouse also be a dependent on that application?
How much should I prepare for the visa application?

Generally, ito ang steps:

Find your job code here. Alam ko pwede both sa 189 and 190 ang SE, you may also want to explore 491. Read more about these visa subclasses. Ito na rin yung points table for your reference. Dyan mo malalaman kung gusto mo bang mag claim ng points for your partner's credentials. Achieve as much points as you can.
Skills Assessment (ACS) - madugong documentation ito, pero ok lang yan since gagamitin mo yan sa visa application later on. Read more: https://www.acs.org.au/msa/information-for-applicants.html
English Test (kung kakakayanin, pwedeng pagsabayin ito with skills assessment to save time) - pili kayo ng gusto nyong test. May sariling thread dito sa forum ang bawat test for more tips. Mostly, IELTS at PTE yung preferred by applicants.
EOI - you can create EOI for each visa subclass (highly recommended, since may requirement sa 190 ang mga states na mas gusto nila sila lang pipiliin mo sa EOI). Read more about EOI here. For 190, read more about each state's criteria and process. Kanya kanya yan, may website sila. Currently, since the FY is practically over, may mga states na sarado na for applications. Just wait for the new FY this July and stand by for more announcements.
Visa Application once invited. Dito na papasok ang ImmiAccount. Far down the line pa naman yan needed pag may invitation na. In terms of cost, think around 4,300 AUD for the main applicant pa lang. May dagdag pa yan per head na isasama sa application.
