Any idea po kung magko close this January 2024 yung VIC EOI?

For this year, when is the best time to apply for a state nomination from VIC?

I'm worried na masaraduhan sa invitation sa 190 sa VIC.

I'm currently living in Victoria for almost 2 years.

Actually, I got my positive skills assessment from aitsl na,

pero waiting pa rin po sa Skilled Employment Statement (SES) from AITSL.

I am a Secondary Mathematics Teacher po, with more than 5 years work experience,

so nasa ANZCO 241411 po occupation ko.

Needs to be at least 20 hours per week to claim points. Also you have to find a suitable occupation for that. Not sure if being a lecturer qualifies you to nominate Civil Engineer, or any Engineering occupation for that matter, as your occupation.

University Lecturer pala is on the list. This might be a better option for you.

Once granted ka na for 189/190, you can work sa kahit anong job na gusto mo don. It will help to use your previous experience pero not required. You can change careers and all that.

Employment that is outside of the last five years cannot be accepted and will not meet the skills assessment requirements.

Ibig sabihin po ba nito, employment that does not fall within the last five years are deemed to be irrelevant sa assessment? Eh how about po sa points na ikeclaim kapag may experience na 5 to 8 years under visa 189/190/49. Ibig sabihin po maximum na makeclaim ng mga VETASSESS assessed people will only be 5 years of experience? since ang icocount lang nila is your experience within the last 5 years?

Another question, tama ba na hindi nirerequire ni VETASSESS na may English test result during the skills assessment?

What I understand from this is that to be qualified for assessment as lecturer, dapat naging occupation mo ito in the recent 5 years. If so, then possible pa din ma assess ng 10 years if you present the requirements. If let's say, yung last time na naging lecturer ka was 6 years ago, hindi ka qualified to nominate that occupation.

Hello po question related to VETASSESS pa rin po, I have read thru reddit po one of the huge mistakes for VETASSESS is when you submit an application that does not show a FULL CALENDAR YEAR of employment. Pag ganto daw, malamang sa malamang mag negative daw assessment nila. How true po? May mga nakapag VETASSESS na po ba here an hindi full calendar year mga experience and negative sa skills assessment? Minsan po kasi saken hindi buong taon yung experience ko like 10 months etc. Sana po masagot tanong ko po. Thanks po.

There’s really no best time/everyday is the best time. As soon as you meet the eligibility criteria and have documents prove your claim, lodge the EOI.

To evidence a continuing skilled employment - you can provide COE, reference letters, payslips , notice of assessment or tax returns , contract , bank statement etc.

No need for RSEA

Hello good morning ask ko lang if ok lang ba na yung ITR is di continous yung year ex. 2015, 2016, 2019, 2020, 2021. May mha year na blanko...nawala ko kasi yung ibang ITR ko eh...if ever po baka po may alam if paano mag request nang ITR sa BIR Kasi di napo nag bibigay nang copy nang previous year ang company namin...salamat po

Do I need to answer YES or NO sa question po na "did the partner take an english test in the past 36 years kahit below 50 score nya? magreretake po sya to increase his points.

hi. seeking advice. i got my visa 476 grant last may 2023. i applied in may 2021. in all of my documents i claimed that i am single.

however, i am now in a serious relationship (started after the grant). how should i approach informing immi po na we're a de facto couple? pwede po ba ako magrelationship change from single to de facto after the grant but before first entry?

for context. my partner is also planning to apply for a student visa this month tapos start ng program niya ay sa july. i will be going to australia in may.

Yung degree is awarded as BSED hindi po sya under College of Arts that can award BS or BA

Bachelors of Secondary Education is in the B category po.

Hi, everyone! Currently looking into the skilled and regional visas for AU. However, I'm quite confused regarding the skills assessment portion, and I'm not sure if I have high chances to get a positive assessment, and if I pass the 65 points requirement in general.

Some details:

Age: At least 25 but less than 33 years

Partner skills: Single

Occupation: Graphic Designer

For the VETASSESS skills assessment, this is the requirements for a positive assessment:

For the AQF degree, I graduated from a Liberal Arts and Commerce double major program (AB Communication and BS Marketing) from a Section 1 school. Does this guarantee it'll be recognized as an AQF Bachelor's degree? It is not a highly relevant major as well (I think).

And considering that, I only have 3 years of relevant work experience.

If my education degree does get counted as an AQF Bachelor's degree (but not highly relevent), then according to the table, it should still be possible to get a positive skills assessment with 3 years minimum of highly relevant work, but I don't know how this will affect my overall points. Will the 3 years get deducted and count my work experience as zero?

If so, how are my chances under the points system (while assuming I get the full points for English and community language scores)?

Regarding earnings to be included in your estimated annual earnings from your VICTORIAN employment

Skilled employment includes any role that is at skill levels 1,2 or 3in the relevant ANZSCO classification.

_Skilled employment does not have to be in your nominated occupation, but your earnings must be from skilled employment.

For example, if your nominated occupation is Mechanical Engineer (ANZSCO skill level 1), you cannot include earnings from employment if you worked as a Truck Driver (ANZSCO skill level 4), but you could include earnings if you worked as a Mechanical Engineering Technician (ANZSCO skill level 2).
