Sa points test 60 pts lang nakuha ko (assume ko pa IELTS is 7 (10pts + 5 points sa misis ko), since wala na work ang misis ko for quite some time then and points ko na lang is 55, in your honest opinion, is it worth it? I am here in SGP working as product engr (semicon) since 2005. Is 65 points one of the requirements? If I can get IELTS score of 8 (20pts) then i can get 65pts.

But again, base on the information I got, 8 is difficult to achieve.

for assessment, base sa experience ninyo, better ba ang email or post or fax? ano po ang mga requirements na dapat i-provide? photocopy, CTR or original? how much is the cost?
I saw this information from OZ site. Is this for the assessment fee alone? What is 1st and 2nd installment mean?

hello po ... sa COE ko ay ang nakalagay lang ang job title as product engineer lang, di po cya detailed, walang job description pero kumpleto sa header, signature, at date of employment, pwede na ba un?

@jimbob, usually diskarte ng mga nagmmigrate sa Australia, yung isa muna sa pamilya ang pupunta at hindi sabay...medyo komplikado kasi yung points system at assessment lalo na kung rejected yung isa. In my opinion mataas ang demand sa engineer sa Australia so it might be worth your time to apply on your own first.

Dun sa IELTS, kaya ang IELTS 8, tiyaga at lakas ng loob lang kelangan dun and the 20 pts you can get from that is very very helpful 🙂 At kung gipit kayo sa points, mayroon ding visa tulad ng Employer Sponsored or State Sponsorship na hindi masyadong strikto sa points 🙂

Sir samahan mo ng testimonial yan para sigurado. Dun mo isingit detailed job description mo at yung salary. Pagawa ka na lang sa manager mo or immediate supervisor. Sa COE kasi generic lang talaga yun.Ganun lang ang gagawin ko eh tapos hingi ka na rin ng calling card ng amo mo tapos i attach mo na rin. May thread dito tungkol sa COE hanapin mo nalang. Tsaka yung listahan na ginawa ni Totoy malaking tulong yun.

sa points test 55, lang talaga ang nakuha ko (min kinuha ko sa IELTS na 10pts although di pa ako naka take nito, wala rin pts sa misis ko kc tagal na walang work, when it comes sa skill assessment medyo panatag ako kc un naman talaga ang nominted na skills nasa SOL at un talaga ang line of work ko, wala na bang ibang bonus pts na pede i-claim? what if positive yong assessment mo pero 55 lang pts mo (considering 10pts sa IELTS), what are my chances? is it worth it to lodge?

Kasi may clause dun na you must be employed at least 12months in the past 24months upon application.

@katlin924, ang ibig sabihin niyan, noong nakalipas na 2 taon, dapat may trabaho ka ng at least 1 year. kung wala ka work this period pero, say may work ka naman ng Apr 2010 to Apr 2011, you satistfied this clause, so you can proceed to lodge your application.
