Format of a Reference Letter

Mag-sisimula nako mag-hanap ng work sa January 30, ang nabanggit sakin importante reference sa Australia. Gusto ko na sana humingi ng reference letter sa mga previous managers ko, paano ba format?

Meron ba kayong sample reference letter dyan?

To all who have successfully gotten a job in Australia, did they require from you a reference letter prior to getting hired?

@psychoboy wala pako job, pero na-interview nako. Yung 2nd interview ko, dun nila hiningi yung references ko. Hindi letter, name and contact number lang nila.

ay bakit hinihingi to? iba pa ba yung COE with detailed duties and responsibilities?

Yung COE mo kasi, that just indicates your duties and responsibilities - ang reference naman, it will be a way for a specific person to vouch for your capacity to carry out what was stipulated in your COE.

thanks @psychoboy kaso it would be impossible for us to produce such during application pa lang noh? kasi magtatanong ang present boss bakit need nun? haha anyway acceptable ba ang email format yung reference letter? 🙂

Boss @gacoquia - I think naguguluhan ka... 🙂 posible na kailangan mo itong reference letter when you HAVE YOUR IMMIGRANT VISA already and you begin looking for a job...

Normally people secure these references just prior to their last day with their firm. So I don't see any issue if you ask your boss for that...
