Hello everyone!

My husband just sent his application by courier last 10 May 2013. I asked the courier last 14 May if it was received by the embassy already, and they replied yesterday that it was received last 13 May. I was quite worried knowing that it was already received by the embassy according to the courier, yet my husband did not receive any acknowledgement email/letter from the embassy. So I opted to contact the embassy this morning through their email, asking if his application reached their office. I received a reply this afternoon, saying that his application was received by the embassy last 13 May. Reading through your timelines, after lodgement you were all able to receive an acknowlegement letter from the embassy, which on my husband's case did not happen. Is not receiving an acknowledgement letter something to worry about?

@imxelyn..u don't have to worry po, kasi nag email kna rin sa kanila at they already confirmed dat they already received it. Kung mnsan po kasi sa dami ng application na narerecv nla der r tyms po na after a week, 2 wks or month kpa mkakarecv ng aknowldgement letter.. Cguro po hndi pa nla na process ung payment or na encode sa system nla ang details ni hubby m kung kayat hndi pa xa nkakarecv ng aknowledgemnt email..

@nfronda thanks! Regarding the payment, I paid here in Adelaide last 26 April so I believe that it's already on their system. Maybe we'll just have to wait for it. Just hoping to get an update from them really soon. 🙂

@imxelyn..ahh okk..yup w8 lg po ng 1-2wks at after nun pag wla pang my narerecv na aknowldgemnt letter, call again the embassy..kasi kung mnsan nakakalimutan din nla sa dami ng applicants..

Hello! Ask lang po ako regarding the CFO. Yung husband ko kasi pupunta ng Cebu tomorrow for his Medical Exam as requested by the embassy. Then mag-aattend nalang din sana siya ng CFO seminar kasi may schedule for Australia sa Wednesday afternoon. Stated naman sa site ng CFO na pwede mag-attend ng seminar while processing palang ng Visa. My concern is, pwede kaya na sa Cebu CFO siya mag-attend ng seminar and get the Guidance and Counselling Certificate tapos sa Manila CFO siya kukuha nung sticker oresenting the GCC with him sakaling may Visa na siya? Or dapat ba talaga na kung saan ka nag-atted ng seminar, dun ka rin kukuha ng sticker? Salamat!

Walang capping for 309visa, pero fiancee lng ang alam ko subject sa capping... Yun nga din ang sabi nung iba, na maaring ma resume n pgprocess ng fiancee visa sa july. Kz thats the start of financial year of australian govt. But lets hope mapabilis nman yung sa aten, lalo n at matagal na rin yung sayo. Di k na b contact ng co mo about ur medical? Siguro nmn wait lng talga nila yung result.

@forevern4always oo nabasa ko rin sa ibang thread about fiancee visa na may quota daw sana yung partner visa hindi kasali...wala akong na re rcv any email from CO or SMO, nagbibilang nga ako ng weeks kase sabi nya i have to write back within 8 weeks to followup.

Hello my sis, Kakadepressed 6mos na last May 13 nung naglodged ako ng application for fiancee visa until now wala parin update.. Nagemail nman c bf ang sabi application are still being assessed daw.. Nakakapanghina ng loob nman.. wala nmn email if my additional docs na need. 🙁

Hello, nku JD2012 if u will check the aus embassy website, they have changed their processing time for partner visa 300 & 309. The new processing time is now 12 months. Kya lng di ba, new policy yun. Hope di nmn tayo sakop nyan. Im 4 months and 1week now since we lodged our application. Dont be discourage, lets just pray na maovercome naten yung INIP.

Hello guys,

Totoo nga na 12 months processing na ang 300/309 visa kasi tumawag ako kanina sa via centre to inquire about it. Hopefully by july i think my mga results na na maibibigay ang taga embassy! Goodluck nalang sa ating lahat, sana ako din sa july na hahaha kasi ang tagal mag intay nang 12 months.

Hello everyone!

When you communiate with the embassy, do you send an email to this address immigration.manila@dfat.gov.au? I sent an email yesterday and received a reply pero my questions were not answered naman. Parang automated reply lang na natanggap nila yung email ko.

Yes it is the email address and yes also, you get the automated reply. Dont worry, im sure they will answer your queries in few days. If ur question was about how long the visa would take, probably you would get the same reply just like what all here got. Are u on pmv or a spouse visa subclass? When did u lodge yours?

@forevern4always Thank you! No, I asked if they have received the NSO documents that I requested and the results of my medical examination. I applied for Spouse Visa Subclass 309. 🙂 It's on my timeline, I sent my application 8 May via courier and the embassy received my application 14 May as stated on my acknowledgement letter.

Ah, sorry im using my phone kz, kya di ko nkikita ung timeline. Medyo matagal n yung processing ngayon, 12months n. Kya need alot of patiencecesesessssss🙁

@forevern4always ok lang. 🙂 is your spouse filipino or australian? Kaya nga, pero depende parin talaga sa CO na mghahandle. Kaya pinapanalangin ko nalang na mabait at efficient yung CO na ma-a-allocate sakin. Buti ka pa nga at may CO ka na.
