Yay... Visa Grant!!! My CO called me while I'm here in Australia. This is such a lovely news for me and my partner.. Waited for 7 and a half months for this. I could really say that " It will be given to those who patiently waits.. 🙂 "
<b>Timeline for Offshore Partner Visa (de facto) with Tourist Visa application in between:</b>
March 22, 2013 - Sent Partner Visa application to Australian Embassy
March 27, 2013 - Australian Embassy acknowledged receipt of my documents
April 1, 2013 - Received a Request from embassy, NSO documents
April 10, 2013 - Sent my second tourist visa application (TOURIST VISA)
April 15, 2013 - Embassy received my tourist visa (TOURIST VISA)
April 19, 2013 - Embassy received my NSO documents
April 18, 2013 - Medicals done at SLEC
April 26, 2013 - SLEC requested for additional tests: Anti - HCV and Anti - HBS
(They thought the Embassy wouldn't require another tests for these ones, as I have went through with those before I obtained a grant on my first tourist visa to AU)
May 2, 2013 - SLEC submitted medicals to the embassy
May 9, 2013 - Visa Processing Officer emailed for additional documents like my New Zealand and Philippines Police clearances (maybe this is what they're saying CO ASSIGNED)
May 23, 2013 - Second Tourist Visa granted (TOURIST VISA)
May 27, 2013 - Flew to AU
August 8, 2013 - Sent my New Zealand and Philippines police clearances to Australian Embassy
August 24, 2013 - Arrived in Philippines
August 23, 2013 - Visa Processing officer asked me to complete Health Undertaking, saying the application has not yet been finalized
August 29, 2013 - Sent Health Undertaking via Air 21
August 31, 2013 - Health Undertaking arrived in Australian Embassy on a Saturday 5PM as tracked (no receipt or acknowledgements noted)
September 11, 2013 - Emailed Embassy about the status of my application
September 12, 2013 - Australian embassy replied that my application is currently progressing and is being assessed by standards.
November 13, 2013 - VISA GRANT!!! CO called me to go back to Philippines and must leave Philippines before December 6, 2012 as for the expiry of my Health Undertaking.
