@Pongyou03 as a migration agent myself, I would advice you not to wait until 2 years. You can start the process now and even if say you get your visa granted before 2 years, you don't have to leave Philippines for good. You can just enter Australia before the specified entry date expires just to get your visa activated, go back to Philippines and finish your obligations with work then do the big move. You've got 5 years from the time of visa grant to use it so just make sure you leave at least 2 years into that visa to move so you can qualify for a resident return visa before your visa expires.
Using an agent is an individual choice. If you want peace of mind, then for sure engaging an agent addresses this issue.
This forum is quite helpful when you opt for DIY but be careful of the information you choose to take in as any info remains a hearsay until validated by a professional or came from the actual legislation. I honestly find at times meron din inaccuracy of information ako nababasa dito sa forum so sometimes I can't refrain myself from posting my thoughts with the intention to help the readers dahil baka mapamali ang diskarte. To be honest, no case are ever the same. Each is very individual not because certain things apply to one it follows na it applies to all so be very careful with your research.
From my personal experience with my own migration journey, people can give you advice on the process but I can assure you, you'll never feel that peace of mind even if you believe you've followed everything by the book until you get the information straight from a professional.
All the best!
