I checked CPA Australia... Skills Assessment and Skilled Employment Assessment are not one and the same.

Skills Assessment - assessment if your qualification is equivalent to an Australian degree, mandatory competency areas are met, English proficiency requirement is met

Skilled Employment Assessment - assessment of employment history to determine if experience obtained is relevant to the chosen ANZSCO occupation.

Based on my understanding of the Home Office website, husband only needs Skills Assessment to satisfy Partner Skills points. Confirming my understanding po.

Question, ang partner points po ba valid lang kung ang partner ay kasama sa application as dependent ng main applicant na magclaim ng partner points?

Papaano kung ang applicant gusto mag claim ng partner points pero yung partrner nya hindi kasama as dependent kasi AU citizen/PR na? May case na ba na ganito? Appreciate sa mga response, thank you!

Saw this in another <a href="http://www.visabureau.com/australia/immigration-points-test.aspx#partner">website</a>:

You can receive five points if your partner meets requirements at the time you are invited to apply relating to:

Age;

English Language Ability;

A suitable skills assessment in a nominated occupation on the same Skilled Occupation List used for your application.

You cannot receive these points if your partner is not included on your visa application, or if they are an Australian citizen or an Australian permanent resident.

Ask ko lang po if malala claim si main applicant ng 5 points if:

Applying for SA visa 489 (min. 80pints) for Main Applicant: 251312

Main Applicant: 251312 (Health and Safety Advisor) => 65+(10 SS) + 5 (partner points)

Partner: 233511 (IE) 65pts (no SS)

Ilan po ba dapat witness sa civil wedding para ma acknowledge sa eoi? Pwede bang isa lang? Also, may required duration of married relationship sila pag ang aapplyan ay class 189?

@ceinau15 just submit PSA MC, then wait if they will ask for more. Don't over think.

@milktea13 immigration will not scrutinise your marriage to that level. As long as the PSA certificate of your marriage is legitimate and genuine there would be no problems. As @batman said don't overthink it.

Hello guys! Good Morning! Ask ko lang po, recently meron ba sa inyo na invite as Accountant (General) at 75 points? at Engineering Technologist at 65 points?

Is it okey na parehas kami mag lodge ng EOI using both for us yung partner skills and wait nalang which ever comes first will be the main applicant?

I already submitted an EOI thru my agent last Oct 2017.

For my wife, is it okey for her to submit an EOI also? We are not planning to have an agent in her case and process docs with our selves.

My wife was assessed as a Accountant (General) [ANZSCO 221111] by CPAA and got a positive feedback for her qualifications (school credentials) & 10 years work experiences.

I was assessed as an Engineering Technologist [ANZSCO 233914] by EA and got a positive feedback for my qualifications (school credentials) & 5 years work experiences.

My wifes points:

Age: 25 Points

Englsh: 10 Points (PTE ACADEMIC)

Qualification: 15 Points (BS Accountancy)

Work Exp: 15 Points (10 years - Assessed by CPA)

Partner Skills: 5 Points (Husband - Engineering Tech - ANZSCO 233914)

State Nomination: 5 Points (NSW - SUBCLASS 190)

TOTAL POINTS: 75 POINTS

My Points:

Age: 30 Points

Englsh: 0 Points (Competent English)

Qualification: 15 Points (BS Mechanical Engineering)

Work Exp: 10 Points (5 years - Assessed by EA)

Partner Skills: 5 Points (Wife - Accountant (General) - ANZSCO 221111)

State Nomination: 5 Points (NSW - SUBCLASS 190)

TOTAL POINTS: 65 POINTS

Hope you can give some pointers, suggestion so we can start the process na.

@mcril22 no worries, I have a comment on the other thread where you posted.

75 points will have less chances as accountants invited lately are having 80 points. I know someone who have been waiting fro 2 years already with 75 points.

question lang po regarding sa pagclaim ng partner skill points, paano po ba yung sinasabing positive assessment? anu yung mga kelangan ma-meet ng partner para makuha yun? alam ko magpapa skill assessment din, meron bang remarks sa assessment? thanks po

hello po. may question po ako. yung partner ko po yung main applicant. ako po yung magiging dependent. di naman po namin iccalaim yung 5 points, so ibig sabihin po yung partner ko lang po magpapaassess for positive skill assessment? ako po hindi na? thank yoh very much po. @chyrstheen @Mia

@sarahj05 no need na if not claiming points. but just prepare ur personal docs din. and also certificate of english as medium of instruction from ur uni in Oh pra di ka na hingan ng english test
