@newBeg19 hello! fam of 3 din kami. we moved almost 3 yrs ago..we were lucky na may friend kami na nkabili ng 3bed house and where shes renting out the two rooms samin (shes single and hardly at home- so prang kami lg din sa bahaY).
our MONTHLY expenses are as follows;
1.rent $825 bec she split d normal rent of $380 in to 2)
2.mobile-$45 hubby and $15 for me (i used to be on post paid, pro na s stress ako kaya nag prep ulit ako haha), marami nmn promos dito mdali lng lumipat ng providers pag prep ka so nka lock in $15 ako sa 6mnths promo, after nito hanap nmn ako ng ibang provider na below $20 nway i only need 10gb a mnth max
3.elec/gas/water bills-$100 a month
4.insurances -$160 (2cars)+ $60 (my life ins w critic cover) - ung super ann dito may default nmn na insurance cover so we stopped hubbys extra cover and increased d coverage sa life ins nia thru his super
5.childcare-$700 (2 days childcare/3 days family care)
carloan -$660 (2cars)
myki card (hubby commutes)-$148
Gas-$200 (hubby drives to train station only and i work 15mins from home)
school-$100 (1200/year kindy 3 - year 2018 govt school)
groceries-$600
WIFI- $56
other expenses is 'random' clothing/shoes shopping (due to change of weather narin), pharmacy expenses, eating out ( we make sure we dont spend more than 200 amonth- there are months that its below 100) and unlucky days na may fine sa vicroads ๐๐
childcare is a big chunk- our daughter is 4yrs old this year, so nxt year when she goes to primary, that means no more childcare and fam care that around $8500 a year!
so if ur renting an average of of 3 bedroom here alot $400 a week, if u get something lesser good, if u live a bit far , then watever u save will also go on transpo.
if may ma convince kau na parent to look after ur child at least until 4yrs old mas mkakatipid kau.
Goodluck to everyone who will migrate soon! Hope to meet more pinoyau friends 'in person' ๐
