Hindi naman, i had some boxes sealed and some are opened. One luggage around 32kgs napuno ko. Checked-in baggage pala ito with jetstar. Sinita lang ako ng immigration kasi I declared na may dala kaming food. I just declared truthfully and wala pang ilang minuto nasa labas na kami. 🙂

@jema usually sa asian store meron nyan..khit sa woolworths or coles may fish sauce..khit wag ka na magdala kasi pabigat lng yan hehe..suggest ko is damit dhil mahal damit dto..may nabibili mura sa kmart pro ung quality not so good..actually once lng ako namili sa filo store kasi mas mura filo products sa asian store

Hi, itatanong ko lang po kung pwede po magdala ng chichirya (Tomi, Clover, etc.) and instant noodles (pancit canton)? Need po ba i-declare yun?

And yung mga external HDs may limit ba kung ilan ang pwedeng dalhin? I have more than one kasi nakahiwalay by file types (photos from camera and phone, documents/work, music, etc). I'm worried if chinecheck pa nila yun

@athelene Food yes always always always declare. Australia has one of the strictest customs borders in the world.

For disks personal photos and files are ok but make sure you remove all/any pirated stuff like downloaded movies and mp3s.

we've been in and out of oz and we never declared any of our grocery stuffs that are commercially packed... well maybe except canned goods. if wala sa list na nakalagay sa prohibited items ng passenger card hindi na namin dinedeclare.

My wife brought lechon cebu packed in a tupperware as pasalubong. She declared it along with other groceries just ot be safe pero yung lechon lang talaga ang hindi pinayagan.

Ofcourse for first timers its alright to be worried and declare everything. Better safe than sorry syempre. Suggestion ko lang para iwas stress, lahat ng plano nyo ideclare na items, put it in one bag or luggage para kapag inispect, hindi nyo na bubuksan at maghahagilap sa lahat ng maleta.

@fruitys @layao2002 Thank you for the advice! I do plan to put all the food stuffs in one suitcase para magkakasama na ang mga pagkain. Most likely commercially-packed and sealed foods na lang ang dadalhin ko para hindi hassle. 🙂

@fruitys pag ns declare ba.ibig sabihin ok nayun pwede na makapasok yung mga pag kain,hinde ba sya bawal as in bawal.? how about mga gamot like vit c mga isang box at paracetamol, neosep bawal ba to dalhin? salamat
