@mrluis uhm sa tingin ko kaya nman..ang mahirap lng nman tlga is yng pag gather ng documents e..maski mag agency kyo, kyo pa din yng magaasikaso ng mga documents nyo...so i think its better kng sarili n lng po para makatipid pero kng may extra nman kyo for that its up to you po..

ako din working here dto sa SG pero i choose to apply n lng ng sarili. naisip ko din na mag agency at first nung nag inquire ako the fee is SGD5k+ take note professional fee lng nila yun ah pero ikaw p din amg babayad ng pag mag pa assess ka at lodge ng visa so ang laki tlga ng aabutin...

@mrluis - coming from personal experience, we were also working din naman ni misis sa SG when we worked on our immigrant visa. Tama si @Hunter_08, even if you get an agent, ikaw pa rin naman ang gagawa ng mga legwork. The agent will be there though to advise you for anything.

Konting basa basa lang and you may be able to save a few thousand dollars.

yup. kayang kaya naman i DIY. madugo lang paggather ng requirements pero this forum is a great help in making things easier. malaking bagay ang natipid namin dahil s DIY.

Correct @viperbuzz12 - research lang and if something does not appear to be clear, tanong lang dito...

However if may question like WHERE DO YOU START - I think ibig sabihin nito kailangan talaga ng migration agent! 🙂

Just DIY! Had I known this website earlier, I would have done it on my own too. There were times when I've submitted all my papers to the agent sooner than the time they process themselves. For example, the lodging of visa took them 2 wks to "review". Wth! =_=

EXACTLY... You cannot trust these agents to process your application immediately! 🙂

Plus, kung mga may tanong ka it will take them a while to get back to you for answers.

And pinaka worse is that hindi ka pwede dumiretso sa DIAC whenever you have an agent process your papers for you. All queries need to be coursed via the agent.

@mrluis hi our agent is AIMS, we are also both working kaya kumuha kami ng agent and our case is not straightforward. We got our visa last november, surprisingly our processing is only less than a year. Same here pagod narin kami dito.. pareho stressful yung job namin. Were planning to leave by mid july, save muna pang baon : )

aims is ok. i tried visiting their office before in tangjong pagar. and they are indeed expensive but i think worth naman.

ok thanks admin. We'll try to visit din ni hubby. Btw may offer si hubby dto sa sg. 2 yrs contract. Tingin nyo ipa grab ko sa kanya? plan ko na kasi mag apply for australia. Ielts nlng kulang ko or Wag nlng muna nya tanggapin becoz of the 2yrs contract.thanks!

@mrluis - if i am to reply; these are decisions that only you can be able to answer... it really depends on your priority. if you can slug it out for another 2yrs pwede grab the opportunity but if you want to run and play with kangaroos immediately, deyns na cguro... 🙂

Again, up to you and assess your priorities.

@NSC ang suggestion ko po if yng case nyo nman hndi complicated mas ok po siguro mag sarili n lng po kyo ksi sayang din nman po yng ibabayad nyo sa agent pwede nyo n din po idagdag sa pocket money nyo yun.. ako din po nung first nag pa assess ako sa agent dto sa SG pero namahalan po ako kya nagbasa na lng po ako ng mga step by step on how to process yng application to AU at kng may mga question po kyo or clarification regarding the application I think the other experienced forumer is willing to help to address your question. pero tama po si @hunter_08 if meron po kayong time tlga magbasa basa dito sa forum natin marami po ang tlagang walang sawang tumutulong.

at first, mag-agent din po sana kami, pero laki nga di ng masesave if mgtyaga lng tlga magbasa basa.

pero if may budget naman po kayo tlga go lng hehe

kahit tight yung budget now, I would still prefer po to engage an agent, although sa tingin ko hindi naman complicated yung state ko.
