Just got my result today! Luckily, I passed! 🙂 Overall score: 69.5/90.

I took the exam on 8th of July.

TOPICS:

Migration = 1 repeat, 1 correction used
Consumer Affairs = 1 repeat, 1 correction used

Ginamit ko yun 10 Day Crash Course na ni-recommend ni @MumVeng kasi meron lang ako 5 days off prior to the exam. I would highly recommend it kasi irready ka talaga ng course sa exam and mababawasan ang anxiety mo dahil sa 1 on 1 feedback. Plus, hindi kana ma stress maghanap ng review materials online kasi andun na lahat. Focus nalang sa pagiging familiar sa translation and pag construct ng sentence.

Good luck pala sa mga next takers!

Relax lang bago mag exam and mag baon ng maraming dasal.

Inavail ko rin review ni Mam @MumVeng and super helpful. Surprisingly na mas mataas dialogue 2 ko kahit nakadalawang repeat ako dun. Sa dialogue 1 medyo tuloy tuloy pero I know I had some pauses. Lalo na sa English to Tagalog. Struggle yun. Which is weird kasi Pilipino tayo at yun ang everyday language na ginagamit natin haha.
For me, two weeks prep was enough. Pero I think depende talaga yan sa current skills na meron ka. If may problem ka pa sa vocabulary and translating in your head ng words, at least a month siguro. If di naman, pwedeng one or two days. Depende talaga.
I took the exam last Thursday, then today ang result. So 6 days for me. :smile:

Woooo!! Kakatapos lang ng exam ko. Hahaha. Sana talaga pumasa. Masasabi kong confident naman ako sa mga sagot ko. Pero struggle is real talaga sa English to Filipino, potek yan. LOL

Ito yung dialogues na-assign sakin:

PR asking an immigration officer on how she can petition her mother and sibling
Elderly woman talking to a CentreLink agent about her husband with dementia and asking what government services she can avail to help their situation

Totoo nga, sobrang bilis nga nung test, pero di ko pa rin masabi na "yun na ba yun?" kasi, same pa rin na pakiramdam nung actual test at nung nagrereview ako. Struggle talaga, given I prepared for a month. Haha.

Thank you @iaiaia 15days lang lumabas na result, pero sabi sakin nung invigilator after exam ay 8 weeks pa. haha.

ung preparation ko na talagang todo practice kasama ung mga sessions kay @MumVeng mga 8 days lang. pero before nun nanonood na ako ng mga videos about NAATI at self learning. tapos kaka-take ko lang ng PTE kaya nakatulong ung listening at note taking. Goodluck sa mga magtatake at sa mga nagtake na naghihintay ng results!

Thanks brod! oo nga, malaking halaga ang 5 points para satin. Ung kaba before ng exam meron talaga, nung nagsimula na ung exam unti unti nang nawala. Madali lang sya compare sa PTE tapos maiksi lang pa at hindi mo namalayan na tapos na. parang bitin nga eh nasanay kasi sa PTE 😃
