@wizardofOz pero bro, nagpa issue ka na ng bagong TRF diba this week? <blockquote rel="wizardofOz">Hi guys! Kinontak ko ang EA, and sinabi nung isang Assessor that they have issued a letter to me requesting for my original IELTS TRF.

It turns out yung IELTS TRF ko hindi nakarating sa kanila.

May nakakaalam po ba dito kung Gating Item ang IELTS TRF para simulan ng EA yung assessment ng CDR?

Iniisip ko kasi kung yung IELTS TRF na lang ang kulang ko or kung ni hindi pa nila sinisimulan yung review ng CDR ko.

As you'd be aware, EA requires all applicants who are required to sit an IELTS test to achieve a minimum score of 6.0 in each band.

Because of that EA needs to review an applicant's IELTS results before they start processing the application, in case the applicant doesn't achieve the required IELTS score.

Also, because of the large number of applications EA staff have to process, they are usually not able to start assessing applications as soon as they're received.

I've always found their quoted timeframes are a realistic guide to the processing time - even where applicants have submitted their IELTS results before their skills assessment applications are lodged.

Hi there, nope they won't reject. Rather they will file your application and then process it only after they receive the IELTS results.

@wizardofOz i certainly hope not bro; but they really do send out snailmail to request TRF sa mga cases na wala pa ang TRF...

@k_mavs Hello po.. ECE dn po ako and working sa TELCO (satellite) sa Operations Centre.. Pwede po b ako apply as Telecom Engineer or mas-suitable ang Telecom Technologist pra sa akin?

Kung pwede rn po mkahingi nrn ng sample ng CDR nyo for reference.

@wizardofOz after this po, I emailed EA asking for confirmation if na-receive ba nila ang IELTS results ko directly from British Council SG. It took them a while to reply. Pero later nagconfirm naman ang EA na na-receive nila.

any concern sa EA assessment mo?

@k_mavs ECE po ako and has experience in 3G NOC and Mobile Sat NOC, more on Fault management and Configurations. Prang alangan ako apply sa Telecom Engineer, ngcheck ako ibang occupation and ung Telecom Technologist mas-suitable na occupation. Just worried becuase ung Telecom Engineer is Skill Level 1 whereas ung Telecom Technologist is Skill level 2 lng.. Need your advise and kung cno mkakapgbigay ng adivse..

Good day to every one. Like every one here, im doing my cdr, almost finished na. The problem I'm encountering to this day was that I'm having difficult time acquiring a COE from my current employer. To be more accurate, the Coe that I have received from my current and previous employer were not of the format of EA. My question now is there any other way to prove my employment? I'm sure it not only me having this kind of trouble.

you can make a reference letter from your supervisor.. have him to sign and attached his business card.. I did the same because my current company was not able to give me a COE according to EA's format.

you can also back read some threads in here.. to find what others have done regarding this issue..

Consider any of the following:

As suggested by @madskie, get an employer reference from your supervisor and attach a copy of his name card
get a statutory declaration from your supervisor or

3.Hanap ka ng katrabaho mo dati na wala na sa company na pwedeng magbigay sayo ng employer reference at iprint sa company letterhead ng current company nia. Just indicate in the letter na wala na sia sa company na pinagtratrabahuan mo.

hi good day. I already submitted my CDR to EA last 5oct and I am currently waiting for the assessment. My nominated skill is electrical engineer. EA already charged my credit card.

As of now, I have 60pts, zero points kasi ako sa IELTS S-6.5, L/R-7.5, W-7. Realistic pa ba na mkahabol ako sa 60pts knowing sa turn-around time na 13weeks sa EA? When kailanganin ang 60points sa EOI or sa Visa application?

By Feb2015 maging 15pts nlng ang age ko kasi mag 33y.o. and maging 55pts nlang ako which leaves two options for me. First, Retake IELTS para mka kuha ng additional 10pts and get 65pts. Second, go for state nomination para mka kuha ng additional 5 points. Any inputs is very much appreciated. Thank you.</blockquote> mejo alanganin but ucan try. Kung walang delay pwde ka umabot befr ur bday nxt yr. Ano pla nominated occupation mo? I think ok nmn scores mo sa Ielts so pg 1st week ng jan wala p iea mo then saka km mg retake, jst my opinion h.

@Xiaomau82 Yan ang worry ko Kasi Medyo alanganin Ako, sana dumating ang Positive assessment first wee kng December para makahabol sa 60pts..electrical engineer ang nominated skill ko..currently I've been working 8yrs as a power plant engineer sa place namin. Medyo worried din sa outcome sa EA since my first career episode is only a cadet engineer (6months) sa transmission company. Mayroon ba dito na nag negative ang assessment sa EA?

@lock_code2004 last oct 05, 2014 po Ako nag submit then EA charged my Card pag Oct 7.. thanks po
