Good day po.

Ask ko lang po if pinasend nyo po ba sa EA ung result ng IELTS makakuha ka pa din ng copy mo?

@marycelp18 , yung IELTS result mo usually sa address mo sinesend or sa agent mo (if you have one) that's your copy and then yung isesend sa EA magrerequest ka sa IDP or British Council you need to request , indicate where to send and pay the charges for it, IDP or British Cuncil will directly send to EA.

guys question naman po sa preparation ng CDR. Yung occupation ko kasi ang communication lang is through email and conference calls. Ang maipapakita ko lang na evidence is yung Certificate of employment.. ok na po ba yun? confidential po kasi mga emails at system kung san makikita name ko as part ng project. iinclude ko kasi sa cdr ko yung dalawang project ko.. Thanks in advance.

@davos_uno - hindi ako nag provide ng payslips sa EA.. are they requiring it now?

Definitely you can use that pag-aapply na sa DIAC... i provided payslips.. I have one payslip per year sa mga previous employers ko.. lalo na ung end year.. kasi nandun ang total..

Also, you can provide Income Tax Return for each year.. to prove that you worked for that whole year.. Kung wala talga.. other suggests, SSS Contribution summary, or even bank statement showing your salary deposit..

Thanks k_mavs and lock_code2004..nabasa ko lang kasi sa ibang post.. Meron ba kayo Do's and Dont's sa preparation ng CDR? nasa 3rd CDR na ko pero for review pa ulit para sure

@davos_uno - sinunod ko lang ng mabuti ung CDR guidelines sa EA.. just make sure na ma-state mo na mabuti ang lahat ng components/evidences na hinahanap nila..

Sir Lock_COde Do you have any copy of CDR that i can use as reference and guide to prepare my own.newbie lang po ako dito,im anticipating na sa cdr ako medyo anxious thats why im gathering as much as info about this matter..

Reply to @glaiza1210: Technically wala pa, pero mga 90% it will be Civil Engineer, Im still preparing for IELTS.Currently i work as QS for about a year here in Abu Dhabi, but previously i was in Dubai worked as Civil Engineer for about 4.5 years.Mai nabasa ako sa ANZSCO na part of the group occupation for Civil Engineer is QS so im assuming na it will be better if Civil Engineer and besides Civil Engineer ang Degree and PRC certification ko plus much years of experience.

Reply to @davos_uno: Ang maa-advise ko lang, always use "I" sa duties and responsibilities mo: like "I manage", "I design", "I administer", "I plan", etc. Try to avoid as much as possible yung mga "was involved", "assisted", "helped", "participated". Ang tinitingnan daw kase ng EI ay yung capability and skills mo as an (individual) Engineer. Hope this helps 🙂

Reply to @ryannimizm_24: almost the same situation po tayo, I am working as a QS (also in Dubai & Abu Dhabi) pero Civil Engineer ang nominated occupation ko. Parang mas madali and mabilis sya kaysa magpa-assess sa AIQS - which I believe would require you to have further studies in Quantity Surveying.

SA CDR preparation nmn, you have to discuss three career episode; three positions you've hadled or three projects you've handled na related sa nominated occupation mo. Very detailed yung CDR ikukuwento mo yung mga ginagawa mo sa postion na yun or sa project or anong participation mo na very detailed. Parang gumagawa ka ng thesis, Then meron summary statement dun na may mga categories na lolocate or iapply mo yung mga ginagawa sa basic engineering foundation, methods etc....pdeng different positions or projects in one company, or different positions or projects in different companies. You have to select the best three na maproprove mo na related yung work experience mo sa degree mo and nominated occupation mo. dapat yung ididscuss mo is yung ginagawa mo hindi yung ginagawa ng group or team mo, dpat yung mismong ikaw lang kaya laging use "I" never use "We". kaya 3 episodes yan kse EA is giving you 3 chances, yung first episode pag hindi na satisfy si EA, they evaluate the second one, if hindi pa din ok the 3rd one. Pag satisfied na sila agad sa first one brobrowse nlang nila yung 2nd and 3rd. Kaya sa first career episode plang make it best na...Irelate mo din yung mga trainings that you've attended, how did you apply it and even your major subject in Civil Engineering. Just use simply words and another thing dpat yung 3 positions na ididiscuss mo is meron kang detailed COE from the company.
