Based sa pagkakaintindi ko nung part ng description na “At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification”… if you don’t have a “formal qualification” meaning a Bachelor’s or a higher degree, you can present evidences of at least five years work experiences as “substitute” for lacking a formal qualification…

Pero take note mo din, sabi “In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification”… Basically, you may be required to present evidences of work experiences in addition to your Bachelor’s degree…

Also, huwag ka muna mag-focus doon sa requirement as defined in ANZSCO, instead focus ka muna doon sa requirement ng Engineers Australia as follows:

Engineering Manager

An engineering or engineering-related academic qualification must be held - normally at Bachelor degree level or higher.

Engineering Manager:

• is a high level position involving the formulation of engineering strategies, policies and plans and the direction, administration and review of engineering

operations for an organization

• must have a record of senior management over a period of three years or more. Letters of reference and organisational charts must be provided

• must have persons reporting to him/her who are also at a management level.

@acroldan, as above na sinabi ni @wizardofOz, you have to satisfy both DIAC and EA description of Engineering Manager.

In this case your option is to try to consider Mechanical Engineer or Engineering Technologist. Sa EA naman, magsubmit ka ng sa tingin mo nearest sa occupation mo, then they will decide and assess you according to nearest occupation in their opinion. Example you submitted for M.E. pero their outcome is Engineering Technologist. Which is fine, as long as nasa SOL ang occupation na ibigay sayo ni EA with rescpect satarget mong year of experience na kailangan mo i-claim.

nasa subclass 189 checklist po, lahat ng requirements andiyan po, nakalagay diyan na 12 months ang required

Guys okay na ba na naka experience ako ng three years sa trabaho ko para ma assess ng Engineers Australia?

My experience:

2 years - Oil and Gas Industry

1.6 years - Electrical Design Industry (my bosses are Australian)

@thatbadguy yup pwede ka magpa-assess sa EA, and pwede ka magpa-assess din ng claim for 5 pts for >3 yrs work exp..

anong field mo ba bro, EE, ECE, etc..?

hi ano po balita sa mga nag aantay ng assessment letter results, pinas based. Natanggap nyo na po ba ang letter nyo?

Pinuntahan ko kaninna ang post office dito sa amin just to check if dumating na letter ko, still wala pa din.

Nkaka stressed mag antay. Yung exictement malapit na mwala, malapit na mapalitan ng inis.

Tanong ko lng po, my nka experience n ba sa inyo na hindi na inantay yung outcome letter at nag EOI na agad?

Ano po ba details need na andun sa outcome letter?

tinanong ako kanna sa taga post office if ano daw yung letter if nka package seal ba or just an ordinary airmail envelop?...sabi ko no idea ako ano hitsura ng pinadala,heheheh..

Marami naman nagrereply naman Sir. Hindi kasi lahat nadadalian or kasing galing mag-asikaso ng iba. Hindi ko rin kasi afford mag agent. Tama ka mahihirapan ako sa susunod. Pero kung ito lang paraan, kakayanin naman by God's grace and hardwork. Actually marami naman ako nabasa. Hindi lang detailed katulad ng nakapagapply na for Visa. Anyway thank you narin Sir. Okay na pala yung concern ko. Congrats nasa Aus ka na 🙂

Eto mga ginastos ko:

IELTS - MYR610 ~ PHP 8K

EA Skill Assessment - 850AUD

Medical - PHP 8K

Visa Application AUD3520 (main applicant) plus kung ilan pa yung kasama mo sa application.

Others - maliit lang to kung nasa pinas ka, kung OFW medyo malaki baka mapauwi ka minsan.

Plane Ticket - dami factors dito hehe. estimated mga 15k to 25k kung pinas galing.

Pocket Money - dami din factors dito hehe. yung mga single na nabasa ko dito na walang mga kakilala pwede tirhan nagbabaon ng at least 300k to 1M.

yup may nabasa na ako ganyan dito sa forum. may natanggap siya letter from EA pero di niya nabasa maigi na hindi pa pala yun yung assessment result. nag lodge na siya EOI then after a month nakareceive siya ng assessment letter so technically nauna yung EOI sa assessment result. Nakalimutan ko na yung nangyari after pero hindi nagwork out ng maayos kasi namention ng CO yung dates involved. nag withdraw ata siya ng application.

Dates are very important sa skill select. especially yang assessment. reason for refusal pag nauna ang EOI sa assessment so ingat ingat lang, madami na ako nabasang ganyan sa kabilang forum.

Nakalagay dun na yung competency mo e equivalent sa anzsco na pinaassess mo tsaka nakalagay kung broadly comparable sa australian bachelors degree. nakalagay din kung ilan ang work experience mo kung inavail mo to.

Ang pwede mong diskarte is hingan yung EA ng softcopy nung Outcome Letter… sabihin mo it’s been X weeks na and you’re afraid na nawala yung letter sa mail system ng Pinas.. sabihin mo baka mag-request ka na lang din ng Duplicate…

Ganyan ginawa ko and nag-respond kaagad yung Assessor ko, pinadala sakin yung softcopy, plus yung mga forms na kailangan for duplicate request, including Statutory Declaration…

Nung nasilayan ko na yung softcopy, nakapag-EOI na ko… importante kasi doon yung Date na issued yung letter.. yun yung dapat accurate na mailagay mo sa EOI…

Then lodge your EOI, at least naka-abang na sya for any Invitation rounds, and sure ka na tama yung details…

Now, if ever na-invite ka na, I suggest hintayin mo pa rin yun actual letter, whether dumating yung original letter or you just resorted to obtaining a duplicate, before you lodge a visa application… may ample time ka pa naman to wait for that letter before your Invitation expires…

Para sure lang na match talaga yung nasa EOI mo sa actual letter… Better safe than sorry ika nga…

(This is the <a href="http://www.immi.gov.au/Work/Pages/SkillSelect/SkillSelect.aspx">link</a>) Wag mo lang i-submit at the end, anyway at the end of the EOI meron din mag prompt na may kulang ka pa. Pag dumating na EA then fill up na lang EA and Work Experiences.
