I have just checked the tracking numbers of the documents that I sent (including the IELTS result forwarded by IDP), according to DHL both docs have already reached/received at EA's address. Now the waiting game starts...i'm waiting when they will charge my Credit Card at yun ang hudyat that they have started the assessment process....sana successful yung assessment ko.. 🙂

hi guys! EA ba ang assessing authority kahit saang field of engineering?

I have 2 sisters na mag aaply na rin, ME and CE. ACS ang kabisado ko na process ng application.

Guys, I have some few questions.

Nagpa-assess kasi ako sa EA as Telecommunications Network Engineer. Naging positive naman ang outcome. ang problema lang, hindi nacredit ang ilang months of employment ko sa first company. bale ito yung breakdown ng employment ko:

company 1: March 2007-July 2009 (Assistant Engineer)-28 months

company 2: August 2009- August 2011 (Technical Support Engineer)- 24 months

company 3: September 2011-July 2012 (Project Engineer)- 10 months

Nagtataka ako kung bakit ang total experience ko dun sa certificate from EA is from September 2007 up to June 2012 lang (56 months lang). whereas same position lang naman ang job ko from March 2007 hanggang July 2009. bakit di nila isinama ang 6 months (From March 2007 to September 2007)?

sayang kasi kung magiging 62 months yun, 10 points ako sa points test pero kung 56 months lang, 5 points 🙁. Either way, naipasa ko na ang point test, 60 points na ako, pero gusto ko sana maging 65 points.

Nagpasa na ako ng appeal via email sa EA last week pero wala pa rin silang reply.

Anyway, I have landed a job again since October 2012. puede ko bang isama sa computation yun kahit na hindi naisama yung documents of employment sa EA Assessment for the sake na ma-achieve lang ang 60+ months?

Question naman po.. Pwede po ba iinclude sa Skill select under education ang short courses.. example po is CISCO courses...if yes, ano type po sya pwede iinclude.. Thanks

5 points will not matter anymore, because you already have your 189 invitation already.. Congratulations!!

Para sa mga iba:

wag nyo isama ang other occupations na hindi na-assess ng assessing authority,

malamang ipapatanggal din yan ng DIAC, kasi hindi nila alam kung relevant ba yun or hindi..

(Note: Personal Opinion/Observation ko po ito)

Kung relevant sya at nagamit sa pag-assess ng skills mo, Lalo na kung kailangan sya sa pag claim ng points.. i think kailangan ilagay..

Pero kahit na hindi, eh pwede din naman.. baka kasi may employer na nagtitingin sa EOI mo at kailangan nila ng ganyang skills..

Check mo kung may mga Certifications section.. baka dun pwede..

the thing is, yung agent ko, ang dineclair niya sa EOI ay 65 yung points ko (considering na 60+ months ang total job experience). Whereas, dapat 60 points lang kasi di pa lumalabas ang resulta ng appeal namin sa EA na iconsider yung employment ko from March 2007 to September 2007. dapat sana 60 points muna ang dinecalir niya tapos upgrade na lang ng 65 points kapag lumabas na ang resulta.

ang sabi sa EOI invitation: "When you lodge a visa application from this invitation you will be required to provide evidence supporting the claims you made in your EOI."

kaya kong isupport ang claim kasi may mga detailed employment certificate ako na more than 60 months ang total experience, pero ang tinitingnan yata ng DIAC ay yung certificate at experience count (in months) nung EA. so lalabas na 56 months lang yung akin at hindi totoo yung dineclair ng agent ko na 65 points, dahil; 60 points lang ang na-garner ko, although passing na rin yun.

sabi rin: "If the information provided in your EOI is not correct, and you proceed to lodge a visa application, this may result in your application being refused."

ow may gas! unless lumabas ang resulta ng appeal namin sa EA before na maglodge kami ng applkication sa DIAC, baka di iconsider yung 10 points ko sa employment experience. pero sabi ko nga dun sa pangalawa kong tanong: puede ko bang isama sa computation ng job experience yung job ko since October 2012 for the sake na ma-achieve ang 60-month experience kahit na hindi na-assess ng EA ang employment na yun?

@Sungsung - okay now it is more clear..

a) i think mas malakas ang laban mo about dun sa 6 months na hindi na count ng EA, considering na inclusive sya sa same job mo from Mar 2007- July 2009.. baka nalito lang ang EA sa mga dates format.. so mukhang okay nmn ang pag-appeal nyo..

b) mas delikado kung isasama mo ang new job mo, lalo na hindi nmn talga sya na-assess ng EA..

mukhang okay namn ang ginawa ng agent mo.. dahil dapat alam nya yan.. 🙂

kung anu man ang mangyari...dumating man or hindi ang appeal nyo, pwede nyo naman ipalawag pag nagka CO kana.. eto ang nakalagay sa DIAC's website..

"The decision to award points for skilled employment remains with the departmental case officer."

After submitting my application to EA last dec. 2012 wala pa akong natatanggap na letter or notification from EA (either thru post or email). Pero when I checked my creditcard statement, the payment was deducted already. Ganun po ba talaga mga bossing? Waiting game muna ako...:-)

@RichardQ - just wait for the receipt with your reference number.. they usually send it thru mail/post.. you will receive it soon.. goodluck!!

@RichardQ I submitted my documents last dec 10 and credit card was deducted dec 11. tapos I received the official receipt last jan 3 lang

I would assume it is required.

You shld submit whatever you used in your assessment..

Kaya nga ctc lng hiningi ng EA,para you will have the orig.. 😉
