wala pong eksaktong definition, pero based sa experienced ng mga nagpa-assess ang sinasabi kong school sectioning at ang assessment sa educ qualification compared to AU standard.. marami pang ibang factors..

Tanong lang po. Yun 1st and 2nd job ko, yun COE hindi inluded yung mga duties and last drawn salary. Need ko pa ba humingi ulit ng new COE to indicate both?

Another question, yun current job ko po, 4yrs na ako as perm staff. Pero bago ako naging perm staff,under contractual ako for about 1yr and 3months. Bali under ako sa agency that period.

Actually hindi naman nagbago yun duties performed since yun transition from

contractual to perm staff. Ang pagkaka alam ko, need ng 3 career episodes, taken from current job and the last two. Pede ko ba na gawing isang career episode from time na contractual ako until current perm staff?</blockquote>

kung magclaim ka ng points para sa work experience na yun (1st/2nd job), kailangan mo ng job description, COE+salary, or other supporting docs (payslip/ITR)..
kung pasok sya sa last 10 years (kasi ang assessment points is only for the last 10 years)
it doesn't matter kung permanent or contractual, ang importante "FULL TIME" work mo sya.. so pwede mo sya i-claim as work experience.. of course as long as may docs/proof ka..
regarding Career Episodes, it's NOT true na kailangan current job ang isa... i did my CDR/Career episodes from my jobs 5 years ago.. at pumasa naman...
ang key point is, your Career episodes should demonstrate yung skills na hinahanap ng occupation mo (Based on ANZSCO), at most importantly, ung work experience mo na pinagbasehan ng Career episodes mo, should have the appropriate docs (see point 1/2/3)

hindi magiging problema yan kung kayang patunayan ng documents nyo na nag-exist nga talaga before ang company at ang work nyo... EA will decide on that... marami na rin po dito ang same case nyo at naging okay naman..

kaya nga nasa quality ng documents nyo nakasalalay yan.. provide as many documents as you have kung wala na ang company nyo... aside from COE+JD, you can give payslip, ITR, promotion letter, training documents.. etc...

for sure, they have their own way of investigation to check the authenticity of your work exp..

@lock_code2004 paki confirm naman what sort of "employment evidence" docs need n ipasa para sa CDR assessment. wala kc nakalagay n specifics. sabi nung iba sapat n daw employment certificate, but base dun sa input mo, need pa ng JD, payslip, etc. na sa pagkaka alam ko required lng ang mga yun kung need mo pa assess work exp. and need migration pts.

That is clearly described in the EA Migration skills Assessment Booklet:

3.4 Evidence of Employment

If in your CV/Resume you claim engineering work experience of 12 months or more, then you must provide documentary evidence (originals or certified copies) of employment and certified translations into English where necessary.

The documentary evidence is to include;

company letterhead (including name and location details),
date of document, name and status of author, dates and duration of employment,
title of position occupied and a brief description of duties/tasks/responsibilities.

If a career episode is based upon engineering work, then you must provide documentary evidence of employment, as above. This instruction applies to the standard assessment

service only. Go to Section D for further instructions on the additional assessment service for the identification of periods of skilled employment.

Balak ko na kasi kumuha ng Certificate of Employment from my previous employer. More than 8 years ako nag-work and yun ang first job ko kaya nag-start ako sa pinaka-mababang position, bale ito yung positions/promotions path ko:

Engineer-> Senior Engineer-> Staff Enginner-> Engineering Group Lead

My questions are, kailangan bang yung COE na hihingin ko from my previous company should show yung lahat ng positions na dinaanan ko as above, and kailangan bang ilagay yung lahat ng job description for each? e.g.:

EMPLOYER XYZ:

Engineer

 Duration: January 1, 2000 to December 25, 2001

 Job Description: 

            -> Duty1

            -> Duty2

Senior Engineer

 Duration: Decmber 26, 2001 to December 25, 2003

 Job Description: 

            -> Duty1

            -> Duty2

... and so on...............

Engineering Group Lead

 Duration: January 1, 2007 to December 25, 2008

 Job Description: 

            -> Duty1

            -> Duty2

Kaya ko sya naitanong is for example, I have one episode sa CDR ko na sasabihin kong nangyari noong ako ay Senior Engineer... then another episode na nangyari noong Group Lead na ko and so on... does it mean na yung COE details ko should align doon sa ilalagay kong positions/dates sa CDR?

So hindi acceptable na yung COE na isa-submit ko will only state yung pina-last position na na-handle ko i.e.:

EMPLOYER XYZ:

Engineering Group Lead

Employment Date: January 1, 2000 to December 25, 2008

 Job Description: 

            -> Duty1

            -> Duty2

@wizardofOz - i had the same experience, 4 different job titles in one company..

so my COE has only the last job title, tapos ung mga job description ko in a separate paper, ay naka detailed din per job title..

kaya sa CDR ko, i specified which job title ang ni-rerefer ko sa particular career episode na yun.. i did that, because yung mga jobs ko are in different functions, like manufacturing, supply chain/planning, systems... etc..

pero kung yung sayo eh same job lang.. example.. jr system engr.. senior system engr, tapos system engineering team leader, i think okay lang nman na isa na lang.. so i my point is kung hindi nagbago ang job description mo (main duties), at nadagdagan lang ang scope dahil na promote ka, okay lang na isa n lang ang COE+ Jd mo..

sa CDR mo, you can just mention na jr level ka pa lang that time.. etc..

but kung pwede nmn at okay nmn sa HR nyo, then walang problema na i hiwahiwalay pa..

@lock_code2004 yes, yung work ko dati is on the same job, na-ppromote lang to higher positions.

Ang ni-request ko na lang sa HR ng previous company ko kahapon is yung Last Position held ko with Duration, Manhours/Week, and JD...

Tingnan ko na lang baka pwede ko ma-specify doon sa CV na hinihingi rin ng EA na nag-start ako from junior doon sa previous company ko....

Btw... nasa Thailand ako during application ko sa EA, in case may hingin sila na cert. copy ng mga documents, pwede bang Red Ribbon from Phil Embassy? Hindi ko kasi alam kung tumatanggap sila ng documents na Notarized by lawyers from (other) countries where you work... Saka if ever man... yung Notary Public dito for sure, "Thai" ang sulat

@wizardofOz - tatanggapin nila ang any "Certified True Copy" ng any lawyer anywhere...

CTC means, you have the original, pina-copy mo, at dinala mo sa lawyer.. then they certified na pareho ang copy at ang original...

mostly may CTC services din ang mga phil embassy.. check mo..

@JClem ang hirap ma'am mag hanap ng precedent case for an industrial engineer that's why I'm directing my query to you.

I'm an IE graduate from UP Diliman, with almost 4 years corporate experience that are not directly IE (analytics, project development, research, marketing, etc.) I'd like to take the first step which is Engineering Assessment, may I kindly ask for your advice and guidance in how you went about your CDR?

Most of my colleagues in UP Engg opted for an easier visa (457, i think), but since 4 years ago na ako graduate, I need to gun for visa 189 now. So wala akong mapagtanungan na immediate friends. Those some adviced me that I will have to go back to my college projects and compose something technical.

Kailangan pa po ba talagang kumuha ng Certificate of Employment and Job description sa current employer ko? Para kasing Bad-shot naman un sa manager ko kung gagawa ako ng Job Description tapos ipapasign ko sa kanya.. Malalaman nya na nagpplano na akong lumipat. Lalo na po at foreigner ako dito sa Singapore at Singaporean ang boss ko.

May mga nakaencounter na po ba ng ganito? Ano po ang ginawa nyo? salamat..

if i may answer, medyo busy na si @JClem.. IE rin ako.. EA will do the assessment based on your COE+Job Description versus the ANZSCO definition for IE..

the best start is to get the ANZSCO code for IE and read the job description..
then look at you work experience, and relate it to the ANZSCO job desc
work on your CDR, (refer to EA migration booklet), and pick career episodes that will highlight your IE work..

IE has several job specialization. my work exp is very broad from supply chain/planning, systems engr, Process/methods, IT analyst, to manufacturing/production.. so i relate my CDR/career episodes to the ANZCO code...

let me know if you have clarification/s..

@gilberttkd nung nag-request ako ng Certificate of Employment sa current employer ko, i told my manager the truth. In-email ko muna yung manager ko na-naka-attach na yung draft nung detailed COE. tinanong ko sa kanya kung ok lang ba na magpa-pirma sa kanya as I need it for Engineer's Australia assessment. Medyo naghintay lang din ako ng timing na di sya masyado busy.
