Waiting for my ielts exam. Dapat pala un na inuna kong pinakasched. Ang tagal maghintay. Almost ready na CDR ko only to realise na kailangan pala result ng ielts before submitting for assessment. So need to wait at least a month bago makapagpasa sa EA.

so, ask ko din pala what else I can prepare while waiting for my ielts exam and results.

im applying through 189.

I already have CO for all companies I worked with. Meron na din school certificates, transcripts, prc certs and ids.

@sherwinm right. 🙂 in the meantime, practice2 na lng sa ielts and aim for at least 7 all or 8 all pangdag2 points. 🙂

@sherwinm aside from your CDRs if you're getting RSEA assessment I highly advise that you prepare all necessary documents like your contract, payslips, taxes, promotion letters etc. I was contacted by EA yesterday. They requested additional tax copies, marriage contract to support my SSS claims to support my assessment. Hope this helps.

Got the result of my assessment and came out positive. No deduction on my work experience.

Share ko lang. I was having second thoughts on getting the RSEA kasi nga additional fees together with fast track pero looking at it now may solid 55pts na ako. I highly recommend if you have extra money kunin nyo na yung RSEA para sa peace of mind.

I would like to thank @kuya.king for his help and replies. Malaking tulong yung link na binigay mo sa akin to justify yung pagkuha ko ng RSEA.

Advise ko naman, make sure talaga na complete lahat ng mga documents and papers nyo prior getting assessment.

Mas convenient din sa pag-upload sa website saka sa pagcheck din. Natutunan ko dito sa group mas ok na ang over submit ng mga documents pero kahit over na may extra pa na nahingi sa akin. Yun nga yung mga taxes, marriage contract. Kahit nabigay ko lahat ng payslips. Anyway ito yung sharing ko. Gusto ko din magpasalamat sa grupo kasi yung mga sharing nyo malaking tulong sa amin para sa positive outcome ng EA ko.

Hi Sir/Ma’am,

Ask lang po ako ng help, I am a graduate of BSECE and working as telecom engineer for 7 years, I am doing po my career episodes, however, I am not sure if tama yung mga ginawa ko. I have to create a total of 4 CEs, done na po ako sa first 2 CEs ko hindi ko lang sure if correct po yung ginawa ko, I just followed po yung nakalagay sa MSA Booklet, pero kapag tumitingin kasi ako sa internet ng mga sample CEs iba iba po yung format. Baka po may makakatulong po sakin dito. Thank you po in advance.

@Krisian hello. 3 career episodes lang po ang klngan. In terms of format, parang ang requirement lang ata ay readable font. D naman sila nag specify kung pano particular format (kung may title ba, footer, etc). Kaya po iba iba format ang nkkita nyo

Hi, I am a newbie here planning to apply for visa 189. I am a chemical engineer but working as RnD chemist for 6 years. Does anyone here have the same experience? Another question is can I use experiences when I was undergrad for career episodes, like thesis or manuscript?

@osss next year i think chemical engineer is not on the MLTSO(previously SOL)...

i think its better to be assessed as Chemical Engineering Technologist ANZSCO 233914...

as early as now if you can have the assessment much better, so you can lodge your EOI and have your invitation by July...

@osss sorry namali, last time i checked parang d sya included..... anyway for your reference, here is the list of the removed occupation on the SOL next year,

the new list will be called MLTSOL....

@MikeYanbu I checked border.gov.au, nandoon pa naman ang chemical engineer sa MLTSSL. Is that the list for next year? Every year ba sila nagpapalit ng list? And tuwing july lang ba nagiinvite?

@osss July ang official list, at reset ng Quota lalo na sa pro rata... kaya pag nakapag eoi na as early as possible malaki ang chance ma invite pag reset ng quota...

@MikeYanbu Ah okay, thank you. Dapat talaga matapos ko na cdr ASAP. Btw, why did you suggest that I be assessed as chemical engineer technologist? Is it because I work as a chemist? If for example, I chose professional sa occupation category nila, hindi ba nila ako iaaassign dun na technologist category? Meaning negative na agad yung assessment ko?

@osss d naman it depends on how you address the key elements in your CDRs, pa assess ka as PE kung d uubra sila mismo suggest sa yon nyan na Engineering Technologist ang award nila sa yo.

in my case nag derecho ako sa engineering technologist, By God's grace nakapasa naman heto 4 months waiting for the grant nga lang, hehe

@MikeYanbu Uy congratulations. Buti ka pa. Isa pang tanong, kapag ba yung credentials mo is for professional, automatic pwede ka sa technologist and associate? Hindi ba magkaiba sila ng description?

@osss nope, pag medyo nabitin ka yata sa PE automatic suggest nila Engineering Technologist, otherwise paparevise nila sa yo ang CDR mo kung bitin at kung ayaw mo ng Eng Tech, d negative ang ward, hehe
