@milktea13 hi based sa EA portal parang 8weeks or almost 2 months nga po.. Nakakainip lang po mag gintay pero worth it naman kapag positive assessment po..

Current turnaround time for standard MSA applications

Non-accredited qualifications: 13 weeks before the application is assigned to a case officer.

Accredited Australian and Accord qualifications: 8 weeks before application is assigned to a case officer.

Nag submit po kmi ng skills assessment sa EA nun Jun 1. Jun 30 we decided to fast track the assessment. Ika 20 days is last friday but still to date is awaiting assessment. Submitted a case and emailed them yesterday but no reply. Anyone who shared the same experience? Lumalagpas po ba tlga ng 20 days?

@VirGlySyl @jeffasuncipn @galf10333 @69ersss @MLBS mga Ma'ams /Sirs..paadvise po sana ako..ang ipapaasess ko po sana kay EA is Engineering Technologist..Alangananin kase experience ko para sa Professional Electronic Engineer (4 years a Electronics , 1.5 sa telecoms pero assistant role lang). Question lng po, e aaprove din ba nila yong education ko as bachelors degree (15 points)? may nabasa po kase ako na diploma lng ang binigay pag Engineering Technologist. May PRC po ako at yong school po nasa section 1 din.. Or kailangan ko po mag pa assess initially as Professional Engineer tapos si EA na ang mag aadvise for Engineering technologist??. Ang worry ko lang po baka ma approved yong Professional Engineer pero instead na makapagclaim ako ng 10 points s experience magiging 5 nalang..mag papaasess din po sana me sa RSEA .Sana po may makapag advise ano best gawin..Thank you po.

@Kcm sa totoo lang depende kasi sa Assessor yan, lahat naman ng nasabi mo ay tama. Pero, example ko na lang yung case ko, BSIE course ko, walang board, walang PRC, section 3 school, pero na-assess naman ang educ ko sa Bachelors which is 15pts na ang alam ko din talaga ay Trade Qual lang or 10 points, na pingatanung tanung ko pa dati dito na most likely nga daw ay Trade Qual makukuha ko. Sabi din ng iba or base sa exp. ng iba factor din ang grades, upon checking 82 naman yung total average ko, at may nabasa din ako if tama pagkakaintindi ko factor din ang quality ng CDR or yung jobe role.

pero wait din natin ang experience ng iba.

@alchemist EA responded to my application, on fastrack, on the 30th day. You should have already received an outcome or a feedback during these days. Timeline in my signature.

@Kcm Hi based on my research sa other forum Engineering technologist sya pero ang Education nya na assess with Bachelor degree means pede syang mag claim ng 15 points. Simiilar to you since from Section 1 school ka namn i think malaking chance na Bachelor makuha mo. Make sure n makita mo sa EA assessment mo na AQF level is bachelor degree.

@Kcm sa role description po ba ng engineering technologist fit ung job description nyo? If ganun then mas ok siguro yun, pero keep in mind na mas malaki ang backlog ng engg technologist kesa ECE, so not necessarily na high points sa engg tech mabilis agad mainvite.

@MLBS @VirGlySyl @jeffasuncipn yon din po worry ko.yong mas marami backlog sa engineering technologist..Pero focus ko po sana is mag apply ng 190 or 489,,di ako masyado umaasa sa 189..May occupation ceiling pa rin po ba sa visa 190 and 489?..may mga nakikita kase ako opening sa Victoria and SA..

Another concern po...yong isa ko experience(1.5 years) is medyo pang engineering po yong job description(nakalagay engineering related activities) pero yong title ko po is assistant tapos pang telco po sya di electronics .Iniisip ko din po isugal sya as electronics engineer at magpapaasess ako as Professional Engineer.. tapos sa CDR personal engineering activity e state ko na ako yong gumawa ng work instructions at di ako mag fofocus sa technical which is pang telco..pwede po kaya yon?

At kung Electronics Engineer po ba dapat focus lng sa electronics? di po ba pwede ma merge yon sa telco? Or kailangan dapat may specific nominated oocupation na pang telco?..censya po dami ko tanong sana maliwanagan na ang aking brain

@ceinau15 thank you po sa feedback..More on data communication like configuring ng router assigning ng port at IP addresses di talaga nag dedesign... nag allocate ng bandwidth troubleshoot kung my system outage.. ..Mas okay po ba na Engineering tech ang ipaassess ko? Gusto ko sana mag kuha yong 10 points s experience and magtry sa 190 or 489 kung may openings..
