Hi @jaybee I suggest you make your own CDR, from MSA booklet "<i class="Italic">The career episode, being written in your own words, will also provide evidence to the assessor of your communication skills"</i> mahirap pa baka ung gagawa ng CDR mo eh magcopy lang from other sources, magaling magcheck ang EA ng plagiarism. So I suggest complete your CDR, then ipaproof read mo lang. But as much as possible do it on your own, use the instruction as your guide. Just my two-cents. 🙂

@jaybee I agree with @vannsia - you can never be sure sa mga CDR services - kasi most likely generic information lang ang macoconstruct nila for you. Imagine it as someone who will do the project report for you, para sa isang project na very little information lang ang meron sya - sounds not right I think. parang hindi feasible and hindi nya macacapture yung essence ng project na ginawa mo and even though they guarantee na they won’t copy - you can’t be certain on that. Upon review and then EA flags your cdr as similar to other cdr’s - medyo mahirap iexplain yan and you will take the blame on that kasi di mo naman din pede sabihin sa EA na “pinagawa ko lang yan”.

Honestly, lahat tayo busy sa work - but if you really want this - you will make and sacrifice time, we all did here sa forum - and kung naitawid namin, kayang kaya mo din syempre! 🙂

CDR preparation and completion is a way of selling yourself as an Engineer as well. Mas less yung kaba knowing na you gave your all and talagang pinagbuti mo ang pagprepare nito. Tayo nga na mismong nag take ng lead sa project, oftentimes we find ourselves na nahihirapan to put together our cdrs, yung mga third party services pa kaya? lalo na pagdating sa summary statement - dun ako kinomang maigi e.

Kaya mo iyan kapatid. Paglaanan lang ng oras and identify your goals and priorities. Gawin ang drafts ng cdr before and while on the way to work, during lunchbreak, at pauwi sa bahay. ganyan ang ginawa ko plus on weekends I’ll ask my family na we can go outside pero tambay muna sa coffeeshop (dala dala ko ang CDR notebook ko palagi)

@jaybee and cdr services doesn’t come cheap. sayang pera 🙂

PRIMARY DOCUMENTS

Reference letter on official company letterhead to:

 Indicate 5 main duties undertaken, job title or

position;

 Indicate the exact period of employment

(commencement and completion dates);

 Be endorsed and dated by the manager/direct

supervisor/HR Section (with official telephone & email

address);

 Indicate full or part-time with number of work hours;

 Pay rate;

 Include the company’s stamp if applicable

If without letterhead, then it is not a reference letter as above. Your next option is a statutory declaration by your manager or senior colleague. </blockquote>

Hello po! Question lang po. Im currently preparing my List of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) po. I had my Cisco Certification for three years (2015-2018). D ko na po narenew or d na ako nakapag take to advance my certification. Is it ok to include expired certification sa CPD ko po. Thank you.

@jsjabaan sa pagkakaalam ko po CPD are trainings, seminars or even self studies (relating to your work) that you did during your employment, pero tignan naten comments ng ibang members na batikan na hehehe

@jsjabaan Mention the title of training attended towards that certification, rather than the certification itself. In my case, the CPD list that I submitted was all trainings and seminars. Certificates were enumerated in my CV.

@jsjabaan I included some certificate courses sa CPD pero these courses are different from Cisco, more on DCS at PLC programming yung sakin and walang expiry. I even included fire fighting training for industrial plants and some personal development programs, wala naman naging issue kay EA.

Thanks for the input @zirko and @donyx. For my expired Cisco certification kasi ng self study lang ako bale books and mga videos lang and forums. Im not sure pano ko mailalagay un sa CPD hahaha!

@mugsy27 un nga po eh! most of mga CPD na pwede ko ilagay eh self study. Im not sure po pano ko un ilalagay na date, venue and duration hehehe! I even applied for short courses tru coursera kaso d ko mga natapos haha.
