make sure your husband is healthy as well. and stay healthy. iwas sa mga taong may TB and Hepa :-D... For clearances, both of you can try getting as early as today just to check if there are any potential problems (if you have not done so recently). Then you can get clearances again after you accepted a VISA invitation. Remember, the later the expiry dates of the clearances you submit to DIAC the better because this will dictate your initial entry deadline.

@piglet24 - yes, NBI clearances are good for 1 year only.

@piglet24 = I think merong thread for NBI clearance when abroad. but from Singapore

we went to the embassy to get the form and have our fingerprint-taking witnessed by an embassy employee.

-Need nyo magdala ng passport size photo kasi yung embassy ang mag paste and mag "seal" ng picture mo sa form
tapos ikaw na magpadala ng form sa Manila (to have a friend go to NBI head office. you cannot send to NBI office.) to apply.
- you'll also need to send an authorization letter.

I'm not sure if the same proccess from UAE.

punta ka sa website ng Phil Consulate or Embassy sa UAE.. nandun po ang process sa pagkuha ng NBI..

sa case ko, July 29 nareceive ng EA then nacharge sa card ko the next day. Yung receipt, Aug 24 ko natanggap. Dito ako sa Seoul. Hinahanap ko sa sobre kung anong araw nila sinend thru post pero walang nakalagay so di ko alam kung pinatulog muna nila sa office nila for some time bago pinadala.

you have to check other states' immigration website..

baka meron din sa iba like SA, NSW, Victoria..

@piglet24 @jepoy527 good luck to both of you. In our case (hubby is the main applicant) Waiting for EA result took the longest time (see timeline below). But if you can stand the wait, mas hindi na nakakainip yung s EOI, lodge etc...

Good to see there's a thread in this forum for engineers.

@smuraineko: thanks sis! tanong ko lang. kasi sa timeline niyo received favorable letter from EA March 2012? Gaano katagal pala ang assessment? I jsut hope talga na ok yung assessment ko. kinakabahan ako.

Nga pala, yung from Abu Dhabi, tanong ko yung acknowledgement receipt from EA is thru snail mail, yung nilagay ko kasi na add is residence namn dito hindi yung PO Box. ok lang ba yun?

@smuraineko salamat madam.halos 23 weeks inabot ng sa mister mo a.sana naman hindi yan ang trend sa mga structural engineers.hehehe

@jepoy527 @piglet24 sagad nga eh, mga ganun yta din ang maximum time nila mgprocess. Factor din kc snail mail sila. Yun siguro ang nkpgpatagal. Basta pray na lng and relax. I'm sharing kung gano ktagal yung assessment s amin pra ma lessen yung anxiety nyo habang naghihintay kc kami din nun nagtataka bakit matagal. Para if earlier nyo makuha yung result eh di good surprise 🙂

Hello everyone! Baguhan ako dito, but I have been reading the threads. Let me just say all posters here are doing God's work. Galing! Ito na ata ang pinaka informative na forum na nakita ko. Good job!

Anyways, I am a civil engineer here in Manila. I have been working since 2006. I am currently preparing my CDR and hoping I can get samples so I can compare.

So, if anyone can give me samples of their CDR's, preferably, for Civil Engineer, I'll be most thankful.
