Update lang po. Ok na EA assessment ko as Telecommunications Engineer for almost 12 weeks waiting. Considerate rin sila ksi ung Birthday ko po e critical (will lost points on my incoming birthday). I immediately submitted an EOI para tumaas ng konti ang chance as I only have 60 points. Pag inabot po ng birthday ko 55 points nalang..

Feb 2012 - Passed the Medical

Aug 2, 2013 - CDR acknowledgement received from EA

Nov 1, 2013 - EOI submitted with 60 points

newbie po ako mga sir at mam... balak ko po kasi mag ielts at magpa asses sa EA next year. ME po ako at nkapagtrabahaho ng 5 years sa Pinas (obligation from scholarship).. Nandito po ako sa Japan ngayon nagtatrabaho. Dito na rin ako magtake ng ielts. Tanong ko lang po sana kung ung mga documents na required para sa EA kelangan ba dito ipanotarize or pwede sa pinas? Nasa 6k pesos daw ang notarize dito per document which is masyadong mahal kumapara sa sa pinas. Ang plano ko po sana is sa pinas lahat documents tapos doon na ipadala papunta sa EA. Pwede po ba un or kelangan dito lahat manggaling?

Hingi na rin ako ng tulong sa paggawa ng CDR ko. Balak ko na kasi umpisahang gawin.. Baka pwede po makahingi ng sample CDR ng ME.. ito po email address ko pierre.lumague@gmail.com

@4G62BT - pwede sa pinas.. same case for me, i was working abroad at mahal din mag pa ctc.. so pinadala ko sa pinas lahat ng docs ko for ctc.

pero nung pinadala nyo ung docs to EA san ito galing? sa pinas din? or pndala pblik sa inyo? kasi dba ung reply nla is thru mail?

Hi, i am not sure kung saan mag fall ang supplier quality. But for process quality, i think pwede sya sa Production or Manufacturing engineer.

Depende kasi sa mga JD kung ano pwede nominated occupation.

Sa case ko, although mostly Test Engineering and Product Engineering ang mga JD, meron din naman nakalagay na manufacturing support and subcon mangment. Yung career episodes ko are those that basically show na qualified ako as production engineer.

meron kasi akong friend na nagvacation sa pinas, so pinadala ko sa kanya for ctc, and dinala din nya pagbalik... so sa akin pa rin nanggaling (overseas) bago ko pinadala ko sa EA..

it's your choice, pwede nmn sa pinas manggaling, tapos ang result padala mo sa yo kung nasan ka man.. i think may separate section yan sa EA form.. pls double check..

a) since you are an IE.. pwede naman siguro under IE code... if you read the ANZSCO job description for unit code ME/IE/Prod Plant Engineer :

"establishing standards and policies for installation, modification, quality control, testing, inspection and maintenance according to engineering principles and safety regulations"

ang concern lang, kung kulang ka ng points and will require SS for additional 5 pts, wala ang IE sa mga state sponsorship list.. pero ang Prod/plant engr eh nasa WA.. so kung kulang ka ng points mas okay kung sa Prod/Plant engr ka magpa-assess..

b) or you can look at the Quality Assurance Manager/Facilitator code for Vetassess..

@lock_code2004 even if my current work is not a manager, ask ko lng if im qualified for quality assurance manager? Job descriptions are closely matched to my occupations so im considering this options. If im assessed naman on this occupation (qa manager), pwede naman ako mag apply ng engineering jobs related to my experiences. Is that possible po?

Sa pagka intindi ko, dapat po you have to be emloyed by that particular company for at least 12 months in order for that experience to be credited when you claim work experience points.

A career episode can be a narative of your job functions or a project/problem solving you were involved in. So if you are describing a project or a problem for a CE, any number of days is acceptable.

I am not sure if a CE from a company which you have less than 12 months employment can be used. Maybe you can ask EA or somebody else can answer.

Well you can put that on the CDR but skilled employment experience will still be based on the proven skilled employment record and those two are different.

If you are targeting to acquire a certain "number of years experience", then all Certificate of Employments amounting to that "years" should be submitted, it doesn't matter if it is on the CDR Career Episodes or not.

Sorry about that...

CE = Career Episode. You can email EA to ask about your husband's case. Sabi kasi sa akin dati ng friend ko exclude ko sa CDR ang companies na less than 1 year ako employed.

Although ang requirement ng EA is stated as:

Certified documentary evidence of employment [must be provided if you have relevant work experience of 12 months or more, or if the work experience provides a basis of a career episode(s)].

So I guess you can claim work experience months for employment of less than 12 months....

Based sa experience ko Qualification Officer ng Engineers Australia:

If basis sya ng Career Episode dapat i provide mo yung Certicate of employment.
Kahit na less than a year ang work experiences you must include these on your Curriculum vitae, para hindi na sila mag tanong during assessment. Don sa mga significant period na pwedeng ma omit if hindi mo iinclude sa CV mo.
