<blockquote class="Quote" rel="irenesky">@fgs @RheaMARN1171933 Hi Good morning po. I am a 489 visa holder and my sponsoring state is QLD. I am just a bit confused on the visa condition mentioned on my visa details below. I though po I am just allowed in regional areas of QLD. Could you kindly give your insights regarding this matter po. Thank you po in advance.
8539 -While the visa holder is in Australia they cannot live, study or work outside of a regional or low growth metropolitan area. This means
anywhere in Australia except in:
• Sydney, Newcastle, Wollongong and the Central Coast in New South Wales
• Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland
• Perth and surrounding areas in Western Australia
• Melbourne in Victoria
• the Australian Capital Territory.
A complete listing of 'regional Australia' and 'low population growth metropolitan areas' by postcode is available.

Actually the condition is a bit vague. It wasnt specified na regional area lang ng sponsoring state kaya any regional area pwede ka magwork and live. But to be safe, i suggest na sa QLd ka lang because we never know magbago guidelines when applying for 887 visa. Medyo hot discussion ngayon about sending migrants to regional area so baka the states might also ask the fed govt to imposed stricter compliance about sponsored visa conditions.
