yes, first thing that caught our attention is melbourne being most livable city for a number of years, then yung job market, madami nmn job opportunities. then coming from sg, gsto nmin ng calmer lifestyle for work and life. some friends say na melbourne is not as 'workaholic' culture compared to other cities pero hndi din nmn super laid back. and the climate, something new for us and were excited to experience it then now were OK with it.

@jazmyne18 parang hindi kasi masyado uso ang pangbuntis dito lalo sa mga puti kasi, kung ano iyong normal clothes nila nung hindi sila buntis iyon din sinusuot nila. hehe. pero kung hindi din naman brand conscious meron din mura mabibili sa kmart, target or bigw.

Guys off topic you can claim your PAG-IBIG provident funds if you want . We tried it and it is applicable for those permanently leaving Phils. Will take about 2 months to process but at least you can use mga contributions nyo when you work sa pinas. Extra cash din sya pag move sa AU. Or at least pangbili ng stuff you need to buy for the move.

You just need to fill this form and submit at PAG-IBIG office.

@mrsAinKL , we claimed our pag-ibig, Provident claims. Ang sabi ay 3 months processing daw, kahit nasa website ng PagIbig ay 8-20 days lang. Tumawag kami on the 20th day, may cheque na. 14 days lang actually meron na, pero di sila nag iinform.

Sa mga nagconsider mag-frent ng room muna through airbnb or sa iba pang flatshare apps (like roomster etc) sa first few weeks nyo—ano sa dalawa ang mas okay? Tsaka naghanap ba kayo ng pinoy din na kashare or open kayo kahit ibang nationalities? Ayaw kasi namin makitira sa friends syempre, ayaw naman din namin ng sariling place like studio kasi gusto sana namin may kasama kami kahit pano na mapapagtanungan anytime kasi syempre mangangapa pa lang kami.. di rin kami sanay na may ibang lahing kasama, but kung okay naman sila dyan, open naman din kaming itry. @mafimushkila123 kelan po BM nyo and saan? kame po airbnb for two months, bale SGD 2000 per month yun nakita namen. mahal pero mas mura pa din compared sa hotel and mura na sya compared sa ibang postings sa airbnb na nakita namen. sarili din namen yun place

@agentKams ah keri lang. Actually ganyan lang plano ko, eh. As much as possible, ayokong bumili, nanghihinayang ako kasi few months lang magagamit. Kuripot. Haha. Since malalaking bulas sila, pwede na pangbuntis ko yung normal wear nila. Salamat sa suggestion. 😃

hello. re accommodation, nabasa ko po somewhere na hindi ganon kadali humanap ng room/ house share pag family. may ma suggest po ba kayo app/ website na pwede nameng hanapan aside from airbnb? o airbnb na ang best option? mas prefer kase sana namen gantong set up muna, lalo maghahanap pa lang ng work at magsisimula ulet. di pa naman kame bm, research lang 🙂

Hi wanted to ask if may naka experience na magpa convert ng PH license to aus license? 6 mos lang siya from first entry, kahit pa mag initial entry lang sana muna kami? Tama po ba pagkaintindi ko? Salamat

@SGtoAU sa Oct pa naman po hehe. Pero naghahanap na as early as now para may idea din at maraming options. plano kasi namin sa Sydney city muna habang nagaadjust. medyo sanay kasi kami sa matataong lugar, baka mahomesick kami pag nag-suburbs kami agad dyan. okay naman po ba kahit kayo lang sa place na narent nyo? kanino kayo nagtatanong like halimbawa pano pumunta sa ganto-ganyan, or san makakabili ng kung anik-anik..

@Grifter Hi, butting in. ehehe. base sa mga nabasa ko, gumtree daw at roomster. Parang tinder yung roomster e katawa, swipe left/right ehehe. naghahanap hanap pa din ako ng iba, pag may nahanap pa din kayong ibang app pakishare naman din please. salamat! 🙂

@mafimushkila123 mejo weary kame sa gumtree kasi kakatakot walang review and all and baka may mga scammer or whatnot hehe. sa july pa BM namen and yun airbnb host namen sanay sya mag host ng mga bagong migrant. brinief na nya kame san mga malapit na grocery etc pero more info nearer to the datw daw and sya nag aarange ng airport pick up din namen 🙂 good reviews sya sa airbnb hehe
