Proof of Age - VCGLR

Yan inexplain sakin sa AU Post. Either one is okay naman daw, though you can apply for both.

Sakin Proof of Age inapply ko pa lang. Nakakatuwa yung ID may nakalagay na Victoria Australia sa pinakataas. Na-feel ko pagiging Aussie. Hehe

Eto Steps (medyo tedious):

Fill out application form. You can get it from photo point agencies like Vic Roads, AU Post, etc.

Dun sa form need na pumirma dun yung Referee. Siya yung person na kakilala mo (for not less than 1 year, legal age and taga VIC) to certify na you’re 18 years old.

So kung meron ka na form papirmahan mo na sa kanya before you proceed to Step 2. Kung wala better kasama mo siya pagkuha ng form para di masayang yung pag punta mo sa Step 2.

I learned this the hard way. Hassle mag commute/maglakad dito hehe. Di pati lahat ng streets / buildings nadadaan ng public transport. Swerte ko nun sinamahan ako ni Tito ko.

Bring the form to the “Authorised Person” together with your Category A and Category B docs for verification.

Sa case ko,

Cat A - Phil Passport

Cat B - Learner’s ID

Strict sila dito. ID means with photo, birthday and address. Di ina-accept yung temporary Medicare Card and yung NAB Letter (yung papel). Original dapat. Hinintay ko pa makuha yung learner’s ID bago ako naka-balik sa kanila. Haha. So parang naging redundant na meron na ako nun L’s.

Yung authorised person is either police, pharmacist, etc.

Bring the form to Photopoint Agency (VicRoads, AU Post, etc) pay and get your photo taken. Yung ID i-mail nila sa permanent address mo.

Another important thing, yung mga ID (medicare, L’s, proof of age, etc.) naka engrave din yung permanent address mismo sa ID. So as much as possible kung yung i-lalagay na address sa form ay permanent na. Kung temp. accommodation, gamitin muna address ng kakilala or kamag anak. Pwede naman papalitan eventually.

hello guys my tanong lng po s mga ns AU na, may classmate ksi kme n ns darwin ns 1 1/2 taon n siya nung nagBM tas Jan sumunod ung baby nila (2 yrs old), sk mister ny (galing Saudi). bago p siya magBM may work n siya, visa 489 pero yung asawa niya nahirapan mghanap (comp eng).

ngayon ang gusto ng mister ny iuwi n ung baby nl s Pinas tas mgSaudi na uli siya. Kasi nga daw ngayon nagzezero zero n sila s financial.

Tanong ko lng po ganun ba talaga? Mas mhirap jan compared sa SG?

meron nmn mga kaibgan kme n ns Melbourne Sydney Brisbane. na okay naman sila. o baka dahil po ba mahirap talaga maghanap? o dahil nga may restriction ung lugar n pede sila mgapply? financially same nmn po db ang rate ng expenses ng SG sk Aus, dikit lng naman.m (tax lng tlg malaki). sb ko nga push lng gnun tlg pgmay family. laban lang.

hello, sa mga naghanap po ng casual jobs , pano po kayo gumawa ng resume at cover letter, nilagay nyo ba kht di relevant yung work exp? balak ko po muna magpart time habang naghahanap ng work para may pangtustos. kakaBM ko lng last month and wala pa ko nkukuha n work. Sa Brisbane po ako. thank you

Ang turo ng mga kakilala namin dito, always modify your CV. Kung ano ang nasa job description ng gusto mo na work yun ang ilagay mo sa skill, ang mga unrelated skills have to be removed. Noon daw they have 4-6 modified CV depende kung ano ang work na inaapplayan. And good decision yan na mag casual muna kahit ano na job pangtustus ng gastusin. Local experience na rin yan at makapah adjust sa mga locals. God bless your journey

Doing our big move this coming September 24 going to Melbourne. Excited and nervous at the same time. Last week we did the CFO seminar at Quirino Avenue, Manila. It was a very smooth process and they didn't ask for any document except our passports and visa grants.

Hindi na po need mag PDOS pag 489. Para lang po siya sa 189 and 190.

Halos sabay pala tayo aalis 489 SA din kami. Hehe. Sept 2 alis namin ng Pinas pero daan muna sa S'pore ng 1wk.

Mag BM kami sa January pero manggagaling kaming SG pero mag PDOS kami sa December. Ok lang ba iyon? I know kapag nagbakasyon kami sa Pinas e hahanapan din kami PDOS. May implikasyon kaya or mas ok na mag PDOS nalang kami kapag nagbakasyon kami sa Pinas (baka mga 2021 pa iyon lels). Thank you sa makakasagot 🙂

For CFO, no need to undertake PDOS if you have resided in AU for at least two months on PR visa. You will only need to register online then visit their office anytime to process the registration and sticker on your passport. Be sure to bring the grant letter and other docs to prove your residence (Medicare card, AU drivers license, etc. just to be on the safe side.

Pero kung nasa Pinas pa at makapag-PDOS bago umalis, ok din naman.

@ms_ane sis, Mag PDOS k na din? Kami din, baka masayang lang ang vacation days natin pag asikaso nito in 2021, kaya better be sure na lng anoh? Ayaw ko din na kay iisipin pa pag nagbaksyon. Kami naman after contract ko, uwi muna sa Pinas ng 3 weeks vacation, then balik SG dito na kmi galing. Makakapasok kaya ako ng SG even after 3 weeks na nag end ako contract? Alam mo naman sa Pinas. Hehe

@cucci thank you sa information. Visit their office for registration— sa Pinas po ito? Nagawa mo na din po to? Sa SG din ksi kami mangagaling, BM next year then for sure ang next vacation nyan ehh 2021 pa or so. Salamat. 😃
