Police Character Certificate Bahamas

Hello Sir or Madam,

I'm a Filipino Seaman who wants to work and settle in Australia and one of the visa requirement is a Police Character Certificate from the country where the ship that I've worked is registered. In my case it is registered in the Bahamas.

The problem is I'm having a hard time getting the certificate. I fill up the form online but the website is not working. I tried to send an email to the Royal Bahamas Police Force for inquiry but to no response. I actually have all the necessary requirements like notarized pages of passports and fingerprints.

I'm also a bit confused regarding the on the payment of the certificate. According to the website $10.00 US/Bahamian currency for foreign applicants plus mailing cost before the certificate can be issued. Cheques and international money orders must be made payable to the Bahamas Public Treasury. I went to Philpost and they said the are not selling International Money Order anymore.

Is there anyone here who is a Seaman too who have any experience with this Police Character Certificate in Bahamas? Can you help me or some tips please. Appreciate. Thank you!

I submit mo yung mga requirements mo via Fedex. Imamail mo sya from Manila - Bahamas. Ilalakip mo yung mga requirements sa envelope nila then mag-aantay ka ng 2-3 weeks then ibabalik nila yung certificate sa harap ng bahay ninyo. Nasa almost 5k ang gastos ko para dito sa bahamas police certificate.

Opo Sir Von ganun na nga po yung ginawa ko. Buti po nagmessage kayo at gumaan yung loob ko kasi mago-almost 2 weeks na wala pa din ako natatanggap. Tapos ine-email ko sila hindi din sila sumasagot. Medyo magastos nga po itong Bahamas Police Clearance. Pati po yung return mail para mabalik sa akin yung Certificate ako din po nagbayad e. Ganun po din ba sa inyo?

@lpzjc kamusta. I have the same problem dun sa payment... ano ginamit mo? Cheque o international money order? San ka nakakuha?

kasama po ba sa mga nakalakip na requirements na isesend sa manila to bahamas ung $10 payment? no po ung address?

Ano po first step sa pagkuha? Di po kasi gumagana ung link sa website nila.

Same problem po.. about pag kuha ng Bahamas police clearance.. anu po nga ginawa nyo.. para makakuha ng police clearance. Salamat po sa sasagut.

Sakin din laging error yung form.

Sana may magshare ng complete process sa pagkuha ng Bahamas Police clearance. ito na lang kulang sa Visa requirements ko. huhu

Baka po may Idea na kayo po sa mga requirements for Bahamas Police Character Certificate, need lang po talaga for VISA. lagi kasi fail pag request ng form sa site nila. kahit sa email po walang reply..

Pwede po ba magtnong ano requirements para makakuha ng bahamas police clearance? And ano po yun online na paraan makapagsign ng form? Hinihingian din po kase ako kaso di ako pamilyar. Nagsearch ako sir about this itong page at message mo po ang nakita ko. Salamat ng marami po ! God bless.
