Hi all, newbie here... in exactly 2 months from now we'll be arriving in Melbourne. My wife and I are still contemplating on resigning or not (we have stable jobs here in PH), para may fall back just in case but I think our conversation is gearing towards resigning and calling bahala na si batman...
We've already sold our house (but agreed with the buyer na pag alis pa nmen sila pde tumira) and will also be selling our car and some of our stuff before we leave. Hopefully malaki laki ng baon yan for us since we have a big family (with 2 kids aged 5 and 3.8 yrs old and a baby 7 month old come November).
This will be a really big move (and challenge) for us lalu na dito pinas may 2 kme yaya (humility aside, mura lang naman kasi talaga ang magpasweldo ng maid dito saten) for the kids and a household help who do the laundry and ironing.
Our challenge right now is to find a furnished place for us to stay atleast 3 months siguro until we find a job and move to a long term lease close to the said job.
