Mate @Khaosan_Road - I am sure ma mimiss mo iyang Bangkok; ako nga taga Singapore before na miss ko ang Singapore ikaw pa kaya na di hamak mas maganda ang Bangkok versus Singapore in many aspects I can personally think of... π
May mga Thai food dito (which is my favourite by the way) - pero mapapaisip ka na bumili as it would cost around $10, much expensive than the prices we were used to.
And yeah, if I may suggest to you - if you have not done exploring South East Asia, do so while you are still based in BKK. Siem Reap is nice, Saigon/Hanoi and the middle part of Vietnam are all nice (with good food...) - if you want to rough it out, you can try Laos and yes if you want off the beaten path, merong Myanmar...
I miss Singapore, the food, the convenience of the place, the weekend trip but it was time to move on and start something a new... I am very sure you will feel the same way as well! π
Make the most out of the remaining days mate!! </blockquote>
I know! ngaun pa lang kapag naiisip ko na I'm leaving Bangkok soon nalulungkot ako. What I like most about staying here, generally, you'll meet many interesting characters. The amazing diversity of individuals is what makes this city appealing.
Khoasan Road - I always hangout with mates in this infamous place. Backpacker area sya and you will defo meet (young) travelers there. I feel like I am also on holidays everytime I go there. Walang Khaosan Road sa AU. π Fellow expats - I have loads of expat friends here (drinking mates, volleyball mates, fitness mates, IT mates). Social butterfly nga daw ako kasi dami ko mga friends dito. Super active social life ko dito. Not sure kung magagawa ko to sa AU.
Locals - majority of Thais are friendly and polite. And often when you smile at them, you will recieve a pleasant smile back. Kaya nga "The Land of Smiles" to eh. I doubt Aussies are like that... π Food - I love street foods! wala sa AU nito waaaaaaaaaaahhhhh π
Clubs/bars - affordable yung mga fancy/posh clubs here in Bangkok. Every week may mga events and international DJ's playing. For sure expensive to sa AU. π Easy to travel - since BKK is one of the hubs of South East Asia. Very easy and convenient to travel around. I've been to many SEA countries. I don't like big cities kasi sa BKK na nga ako nakastay. I often visit remote areas whenever I visit a new place. I think I can do this in AU. I prolly do more road trips there.
Koh Phangan - I am a Full Moon Party addict! I've been there XX times. I was just there last month and I am thinking of going there again over the weekend this month. I've spent 3 NYE (New Year's Eve) there with my mates and it was always mental! I feel gutted to miss this year. Kapag nasa AU na ako, d na sya magiging accessible. π and the list goes on and on an on...

Ahahahha... Mukhang ma mi miss mo yan lahat!! π
Don't forget the tropical climate there!! π Bangkok is hot and balmy most of the time but you will miss sweating like a pig when you are in Oz na!! π Remember me on your first winter, you will know what I mean...
