Bank to bank transfer in Philippines

Good day mates.

It's been great living in Sydney for 3 years and one of the things I love is the bank to bank transfer here in Australia (no fees too).

Is there anything like this in the Philippines? When I was there 3 years ago I had to use cheques, has there been progress that allows transferring from my BPI account to BDO via online transfer? I tried the BPI fund transfer to 3rd party but it seems to be limited to BPI accounts. Any suggestions how I can transfer money in peso from one PH bank to another PH bank both in peso currency?

Unfortunately, interbank transfer is still not a thing in the Philippines. I've hear a lot of tech companies trying to set it up (pesonet, justpayto), but banks likes to function independently so it will probably take some time.
