Share ko lang din yung review ko ng 189 visa trend, data taken from DHA FOI page. Take note that the actual grant and backlog data until May 2019 is available at DHA website. This is to understand what happened in the recent months and is just my assessment and opinion. Did this during my free time hehehe. Cheers 🙂

Visa 189 allotment

2017-2018 (₄₄,000 for onshore,offshore, NZ applicants)

2012-2019 (₄₄,000 for onshore,offshore, NZ applicants)

2019-2020 (₁₆,652 for onshore,offshore, NZ applicants)

Key takeaways:

Backlog on July 2018 was at around 11.7k, it steadily grew to _25k mainly due to Oct-Nov applicants (10k)
On average immitracker data represent about 5% of the actual grants. So a few hundred grants were given in the previous months.
Drastic decrease in grants given started last July 2019, when the backlog reached _13k from 25k in December.

Majority ng backlog is from the Oct - Dec 2018, on a positive note meron namang grants every month. I enjoy na muna natin holidays 🙂 Darating din yan 🙂 God bless everyone🙂

Darating din po ang ginhawa mam 🙂 Mejo mataas ang competition sa 189 kaya mejo mabagal. Pero sulit din naman lahat ng hirap once makakuwa tayo ng grant 🙂

Kapag naaubutan po ba ng validity yung NBI clearance and medical, need po ba ulitin? NBI kasi namin valid until Jan31 then medical until Feb14. Pero hoping pa rin kami na ma-direct grant this Dec.

@wintergreen based on my own experience, I lodged my 190 application this year around Mar 15, medical tests expired last April 29, then direct grant Oct 15. So hindi na ako pinaulit.. regarding sa NBI naman, expiry was Oct 29 so valid pa cya when we got our DG.. hope this helps!
