@ER1 and also take note, not to discourage you, but 65 nowadays won't be invited instantly. People sitting at 70 need to wait either for a year or so. So, if your assessing body will give you a green light (meaning, suitable for migration) then take the actions to increase your points.

By aiming for superior PTE scores (20 pts)
Take and pass NAATI CCL (5 pts)
2 years Australian study requirement (5 pts)
Regional study for 2 years (5 pts)

@ER1 hindi na po ako nag student, swerte at nasa Short Term List yung sakin. Then nag South Australia ako kasi andun yung anzsco code ko. And they are giving out visa 489 (which is automatic +10 points)

@ER1 Once you decide on an occupation to nominate also consider other skilled immigrant visas like 190 and 489. May additional points kasi for state-sponsored visas. Just familiarize yourself with each state's requirements for nomination kasi iba-iba yan. May states that won't nominate you if tumira ka na sa ibang state and may states na mataas ang required points for certain occupations. Nag-iiba yung immigration rules every so often pero mabuti nang familiar ka sa mga possibleng i-require sa iyo.

@ER1 Learn as much as you can so you can decide on the best option to pursue.

Kung mag-student visa ka aside from ensuring the course is for an occupation in the migration list, also check what the requirements are for a positive skills assessment. May occupations na kailangan may X years of experience after obtaining a degree. Since it seems na hindi related to any occupation in the list yung current occupation mo, this means you might have to get related work experience after you finish your course. This is not to discourage you but to give you tips on things to consider.

Korek c @maguero dun. Also, kung iniisip mo yung route na student visa on a regional area, mas maganda kung sa SA ka. Biased ako kasi SA din ako eh 🙂)
