Parang pareho nga po eh noh. Yung rentals parang mas mura sa Melbourne.

LOL I might sound biased, but I've been to both cities (although two weeks lang sa Syd) and I can say it's easier to get around in Melbourne in terms of transpo and infrastructure (parang grid kasi yung mga kalye sa CBD). Mas mahal daw ang lahat sa Sydney and laging nagmamadali ang mga tao or so I've heard.

For me not much work in melbourne.. Believe it or not. Like us nurses and even doctors na just passed the amc q, specialist centers kasi ang melbourne.

I liked melbourne.. Cheaper city to live in than sydney. Pero for us in health mas mababa din salary in melbourne tapos hirap pa maka pasok sa good hospitals.

I think depende talaga kung anung work mu.. Saan may work thats a good enough place for me.

But seriously, from the feedback I got from friends...mas may 'culture' feel daw ang Melbourne na parang Europe..while 'very urban' naman daw ang Sydney

Mas maraming asians ang melbourne cbd compared to sydney cbd... Pero sydney is cleaner than melbourne cbd. Daming bum kasi sa melbourne cbd aka performance artists also, hehehehe. Sydney cbd kasi more of professionals talaga..lakad ka ng sydney cbd most people naka power suits or tourists whereas sa melbourne more of backpackers meaning no bath.. Hahaha.. Students and tourists mas marami kaysa naka suit,

But melbourne na preserve talga buildings nila whereas sa sydney more high rise... Wlang ka art-art. Hahaha.

But yeah go where the work is🙂

Totoo, daming lasenggo sa Melbourne. Ang hirap umuwi nang gabi. And when I say gabi, I mean 8-ish dahil naglalabasan ang mga tao from work nang 4 or 5, some drink in the bars before going home, so mga 7 or 8 ang dami nang amoy chico sa tram and sa streets.

OnT: Home is where the work is. Iniisip na nga naming lumipat ng Sydney kung hindi pa rin mag-materialise (with an 's') yung mga interviews ko.

medyo may rivalry yata talaga ang melbourne at sydney e. pero yun nga, dun tayo kung san tayo mabubuhay. hehehe

pero napansin ko nga din yun, ang daming lasing dun sa melbourne. tapos pag naglalakad ka dun along sa tubig sa cbd, daming mga brats na humihingi ng pera. pag di mo pinansin, anu ano pa sasabihin sayo. yung isa kong friend, di nya kasi pinansin, sinigawan sya ng "b*tch!".

pero personally, pakiramdam ko sa melbourne cbd ay mas laid-back compared sa sydney cbd. yung lang feeling ko. hehe

Sydney kasi people are in a rush..like they really are there to work pero saying that at lunch time sa cbd so many people doing boxing, pilates.. Running and etc. daming health buff sa sydney... In our first 3 months here bihira lng kami nakakita ng mataba. Hehehe. Specially dito sa coogee or sa bondi.. Naka bikini lng yung mga tao shopping. My husband keeps saying.. Sa pinas artista na yan pero dito ordinary people lang.

Then he stayed in melbourne for school... Opinion nya sa melbourne the girls are goth/ punk and chubbier than the sydney girls. Hehehehe!

I lived in nz for awhile... Matataba mga tao in nz or tataba ka kasi walang magawa and malamig so when we moved here to sydney it was like... Whoa so many skinny bit*ches!!!

Pero sa west sydney kasi mas multicultural nandun na ang mga chubby... Haahaha. Observation lng ha. Dito kasi sa eastern suburbs nakaka insecure ( nag jogging na ako to fit in) 50 yrs old naka bodycon dresses...and they look hot!! ..when i pick up my daughter from school yung ibang nanay naka gym outfit... Or as my husband says, milf! Hahaha!!

^ sabi nga mahilig tlga sa beach and sports mga taga-Sydney. hehehehehe ung mga friends namin na andon, mahilig mag-running, biking, hiking etc... hehehehe Nasa culture na ata tlga nila magpaka-fit 😃
