@mccontre as boss @batman said, by the time na you received an ITA, technically all the documents to support your application is already available, except for some instances na may mga docs na mag eexpire like english exam ( valid for 2-3 years) or skills assessment or NBI clearance na last year mo pa nakuha.
Once you received your ITA, you can proceed on completing the visa lodging and uploading the documents you have on hand.
Here are majority of the documents na ni process after receiving an ITA
AFTER ITA
(1) NBI clearance - need iprocess as close to the date of visa lodging kasi it might affect your Initial Entry Date
(2) Police Clearance (in country where you currently reside - example for me SG Police Clearance) - kasi need mo din yun ITA letter dito when processing. This also affects your IED
(3)Health examinations - you can generate your HAP ID first before visa lodging and completing your medical exam para ma link na sya sa visa application mo.
BEFORE ITA
(3) Prepare your evidences for Member of Family Unit and Relationship evidence (for spouse)
By the time na na complete mo na yung online form that you need to fill out, I would assume na nasa 90% of the required documents e you already have on hand - so gawa na ng checklist and upload everything.
Ideally - para sa mas smooth na visa lodging, as soon as you receive your ITA e asikasuhin na agad ang mga requirements. It will probably eat up +3 weeks from ITa received date - then pag complete na ang documents, upload altogether na then process payment. Para malinis ang application ika nga and wala ka ng iniisip na naku may nakaligtaan ba ako o may naiwan ba ako?
But certainly, if talagang di maiwasan, you can lodge na and pede pa maghabol ng documents atleast (again ideally) 1 month after visa lodging. Meron din tayong mga kapatid dito na nag upload pa ng documents 1 week before na grant. Iba iba kasi sitwasyon pero syempre we donβt recommend na iprolong ang pag upload to avoid nga ang case officer contact. Also, note na if you upload docs after visa lodging, there is no option to delete (sakaling magkamali ng upload) - so ingat lang maigi.
Ang diskarte kasi natin dito is to submit decision ready application ( ika nga ni Ms. Rhea) para we can avoid Case Officer contact that could delay our application for a few weeks or months.
And I agree with @crankygrinch - if ma CO contact ka for a document na di mo na ready - remember na you only have 28 days to address the additional requirement - this will be so stressful pag nagkataon since napakaikli ng 28 days. Iwasan naten iyan.
