Planning na for BM next year! Iniisip naman namin ngayon when is the right time to move considering my kids will finish the school year in June2020. If we move July2020, will they be able to join the school in September? Which grade na kaya? My son is currently in 3rd Grade and my daughter in KG2.

Don’t worry, Australian schools are very accomodating. Bawal sila tumanggi sa bata. I believe they assess their grade level by age. If you’re planning to enrol your kids to a private, grammar or Catholic school, baka may waitlist concept 🙂

@brodpete77 by age ang Year level sa school at may cut-off date din using birthdate in determining which level they should be in. You can enrol them as soon as you arrive and not wait for September.

Thanks po! We will scout for school cguro muna then look for house nearby. Actually we were in Melbourne the whole month of July last year and dun lng din ngstart ang plan of migrating. When we went back to UAE Aug2018 nagreview kaagad ako ng PTE at ngtake ng exam Sep1. Ambilis ng pangyayari. God is so good talaga.

But if you are granted your 489 visa on 16/11/2019 or AFTER then you can move to anywhere defined as regional under the new definitions.
So you can live ANYWHERE except Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane

Question lang po regarding this. If you received your grant po, you are not required to stay na po sa State na nagsponsor sa inyo for 2 years?
