Employment reference letter

Hi guys,

I am currently engaged to an agency to help me on my visa application. Now, they are asking me if I can provide them an "employment reference letter". The problem is, 2 of my previous company have changed their names or bought over by other entity. To cut the story short, I think its impossible for me to get such letter from them. Although I have every proof like contracts and payslips to confirm my employment on this company.

Is this different from "employment cert"?

Is there any othersubstitute document for this?

ano pong difference ng sa Employee Reference, COE at Statutory Declaration. halos same lang laman nya. job description, company details, signatory etc. alin po pwede gamitin if previous company hindi mag provide ng detailed COE. meron sila generic. un po ba dapat samahan ng statutory declaration? tapos ung sa current employer po, medyo nakakahiya kasi magpagawa ng detailed kasi baka isipin may plan mag resign, pwede na din po ba generic na lang? and statutory? para saan pa po ang employement reference na sample ng ACS.

@MayoMay the more specific the better. Companies na di nagbibigay ng detailed COE (Name, position, duration, salary, list of duties/responsibilities), make an affidavit but the manager or team lead should be the signatory (it's a affidavit that says that he/she at this address, as your team lead for this duration certifies the list of duties/responsibities mo).

@MayoMay ang ginawa ko is, dahil usually wala silang JD, I listed down all my duties and responsibilities and I asked the HR to have it checked sa dati kong boss at i-include nila sa COE. Just tell your boss (current) na you need skills assessment for australia because you want to know if you have a chance in case, just be truthful.

as for the employee reference sa ACS, your COE should include all those highlighted in red para maconsider nila yung document mo for assessment. If 1 is lacking, they will not assess your skill in that particular employment. Take your time, make sure everything is good and correct.

@mergetwo pwede po bang gumawa ung TL ko ng same ng reference letter na format ni ACS. tapos sa affidavit sabihn na lang na certify ni tl lahat ng nakasulat sa reference letter para hindi sama sama sa iisang page? how about mga photocopies ng ids dapat certified true copy din? pag yes, pwede un sa notary public na din like affidavit for work exp. tapos po ok lang notary noh. no need na ung sa city hall talaga na mga private attorney? ilang witness po need at ilang copies din po ang need. puro upload lang po ggawin. lahat ng original itago lang po ? mahal po ba pa notary?

@MayoMay YES - standard COE (signed by HR manager) but ask them to include the job responsiblities that you have and tell them to ask approval from the TL. Kasi kong yung TL mo gagawa, its an affidavit na at iba ang format nun. As for a standard COE, no need for attachment - COE is okay. But all these should be CTC'd sa notary, bring to the city hall where the lawyer is affiliated, have it authenticated, then go to DFA for red ribbon.

Or pwede din, gather all your COE's - the complete ones - photocopy them, go to cityhall, ask where you can have it notarized mismo sa loob ng cityhall, authenticate it in the city hall, red ribbon sa DFA.

Depende kung san ka magpapa notary.

@mergetwo whaaaaaaaaa ipapa red ribbon pa pala un. mahal po ba? naisip ko kasi ipapa notary yung COE, lahat ng photocopies like payslip if ayaw certify ni hr kasi sa online downloadable lang po kasi, sama na din mga copies ng ids, passport, other school records na walang mag certify etc..
