Makisali po dito regarding po sa pag transfer ng funds, need info po. BM po kami sa mid 2020, targeting southeastern suburbs of Mlebourne. Yun pong pag transfer through bank dito sa Philippines, how much po approximately ang fees, assuming nakapag open na ng account sa isang bangko sa Australia. Salamat po.

Happy new year!! Pag nagopen po ba ng NAB acct. sa online magkano ang kailangan na initial deposit? Or need ba ng may initial deposit? Since tama po ba na magaactivate lang un pag pinuntahan personal sa au.

@eioj16 Happy New Year. Sa case namin, nagonline application lang kami ng savings account sa NAB (no deposit required). After ma approved via online, pwede lang magdeposit (sa amin via POSB bank international remittance). Then kapag nasa Oz na kayo pwede na ipaactivate ang account ninyo sa designated branch. At pwede na kayo mag apply ng debit card kapag may local Oz address kayo.

We have been reading lots of news concerning the bushfires in Australia. Is it still safe to make the big move now? 🙁 Prayers for those affected by the fire. Sobrang kawawa ang mga animals and humans around the affected areas, pati na rin ang mga firefighters. 😢

Im following the local news and Australia is bracing for worse bushfires ahead. The summer has just started and the coming weeks will be hotter/drier. Pero push for big move lang if hindi naman affected ang area na titirhan nyo.

Moving in a month and medyo kinakabahan ako dahil sa South Coast NSW kami mismo. Baka itawag namin sa immigration if ever kung pwedeng lumipat sa ibang area kung hindi pa talaga safe. 489 visa here btw.

I feel really sad for the innocent wildlife na namatay and sa mga firefighters 😭 Pagod na yang mga yan for sure kaya def more prayers are needed.

Hello po my wife and I just got our visa grants couple of weeks ago and we are aiming for the big move this march or april..Just want to ask if it's wise to sell our properties before we finally settle down there in AU? We used BPI, around 1200 php fee ang charge if i remember correctly, when we did Telegraphic transfer.

Question po regarding the Centrelink registration. Clarification lang po kasi base sa mga posts here sa forum, kapag single, no need for the centrelink registration kasi wala pang kailangang benefit/ideclare? How about sa case ng couple without children pa? I'm still confused whether centrelink registration should be done na or not yet.

Additionally, sa case ng Medicare registration, can someone enlighten us po regarding sa Lifetime health cover? Kasi in our case, i've turned 31 last September and as stated sa website ng medicare, may LHC loading once magreach ng 31 or July 1 after magturn 31.

I would say I'd announce it in February, but I have a bad feeling the fires would still be in the news then.
