Luckily for me, nakahanap na ako ng trabaho last week. I'm in the IT industry. Ang tumulong sakin, yung recruiter na kausap ko nung nasa Pinas palang ako.

It's our 3rd day here in Sydney, so we have 11 days to go until we can check-out. Starting to get a little bit bored here, but I can't complain hehehe. We have also done our swab test yesterday - it wasn't a great feeling.

Atm, I just finished applying for TFN, Centrelink and created my MyGov Account - So, I'm left with Medicare.

Is there anything else that I need to be aware of or do?

Would anyone here be kind enough to mention the things or services we can avail in Centrelink?

Btw, my wife is still employed in Emirates, and she's on maternity leave that's why she's here with me.

So with that in mind, can I still avail of the allowances provided by Centrelink?

anyway kogan is using vodafone network... and vodafone merged with tpg kaya mas malakas na....

Yun 2 weeks na quarantine may wifi po ba sa hotel. May narinig po kasi ako na wala yata yung iba.

As experienced sa hotel namin last time may wifi naman pero pag nag sabay sabay na ang gamit very slow na ang speed. Mas ok pag umaga ka mag internet between 5-8 am para tulog pa ibang mga tao. Gumamit na lang kami ng phone data pag urgent na talaga and need ng high speed internet.

Okay naman yung internet dito sa Sheraton. cguro dahil mas konti nalang yung dumadating as compared to before July.

Kasi kami nun April, nag apply kami FTB.. hindi na kami nagapply ng jobseeker. Kasi may work na ako. Sabi kasi asset tested kaya di ko na pina apply si hubby. Buti after a month, nakakuha na rin ng work si hubby. Since dalawa kayong walang work pa, apply nalang kau ng job seeker. Tapos pag anjan na si baby, apply rin kayo ng FTB.

Kasi kami nun April, nag apply kami FTB.. hindi na kami nagapply ng jobseeker. Kasi may work na ako. Sabi kasi asset tested kaya di ko na pina apply si hubby. kmi ng partner ko applied last april. Yun partner ko nkareceive na cia agd ng letter last may yun medicare number and expiry (5yrs) while ako ndi ako nareceive ng letter then tumawag ako sa medicare binigay skin un medicare no. and expiry 6months lng skin tpos inexplain skin na dhil covid and online application ndi cla mkapagverify ng identity and if pde ka sa medicare kya lhat ng ngaapply ng medicare ngaun ma aapprove dw pero 6months lng. Hi, po sa lahat. Good day. Tanong lang po sa naka BM recently, with connecting flights to other states. We are planning to BM sa Brissy, this Sept. pero limited kasi yung international flights. So we are planning to fly Cathay Pacific from Manila to Hong Kong to Brisbane (with 3 hours transit via Sydney). Anyone po naka experience neto, or transit to other states from Sydney? Allowed po ba mag transit for several hours or we need to quarantine sa Sydney muna before the onward flight? My rule din naman kasi na allowed mag transit up to 72 hours, pero Im not sure if same pag nag transit for domestic flights. Salamat po sa sasagot. :-)

Hello, nandito kami sa Brissy ngayon. We took the MNL -> HKG -> SYD route as well via Cathay. Pero ang rule, kung saang state yung first entry mo, dun ka magka-quarantine for 14 days. So quarantine at SYD. Then, tsaka ka nalang mag book ng domestic flight pa Brissy.
