ACS Result Received (Unsuitable)

Hello guys,

I need your inputs on this result. I find it weird, bakit unsuitable ako. Eh yung work ko mismo tama naman as Network Engineer.

Ano po kaya pwede kong gawin at sabihin sa ACS para machallenge etong result? Thank you so much.

From what I understand, you didn’t have enough work experience. Your qualification is equivalent to an associate degree only so this means you need at least 6 years experience to get a successful outcome

Is there anything you can suggest? lungkot associate degree lang binigay sakin. makukuha ba ito if i appealed sa result na with explanation/letter baka magawa nilang baguhin yung result?

Kasi yung course ko BS in Computer Science, tapos Network Engineering ang naging work ko.

Pero ang mga network engineers naman kasi walang closely related yan na purely Network Engineering ang tinuturo sa school... even in Information Technology course, its a mix of programming, systems, and other subjects. Yang major ko we even had a Networking subject and also Servers/Computer systems, although mas lamang nga lang talaga ang programming, but to think.. sa Network Engineering required ang programming eh, like Python, Perl, Ruby..

The issue is more on your qualification which they’ve no got say. They can’t decide on the equivalence of your degree to AQF since they just follow the Country education profile. No point appealing too. You just need to accumulate at least 6 years experience

@barricade hmmm share ko lang yung tingin ko mga rason bakit ganon yung resulta ng assessment mo:

yung university/college where you graduated from. meron syang bearing since your school is in Section 2, if im not mistaken, kaya rin Associate level lang yung equivalent sa AQF nung course mo. so, nagbawas pa sila dun sa years of experience mo (see ACS guidelines on Skilled Date Met)
yung work experience mo as Network Engineer, medyo nalayo from your course in college. may bearing rin yun... although di naman ganon malayo, but then you're applying for 263111 (Computer

Network and Systems Engineer, bakak naghahanap sila na IT graduate or Computer Engineering talaga.

and lastly, more on your work experience pa rin, try to check your employment reference that you submitted. baka yung description ng job responsibilities ay hindi ganon ka-detail? as much as possible dapat point for point clear in relation to the ANZSCO code you're applying for.

So i emailed ACS. Apparently i was right - there was something weird about the result.

This was a typo on their end.

Dates: 05/19 - 08/19 - 0 year(s) 3 month(s)
Position: Network Admin Sup
Employer: ************
Country: Outside Of Australia

They emailed me a new result, which is now _suitable but they deducted 6 years out of 8 years of experience. so i get 0_ points lol. but still "suitable". My english test is Proficient, so medyo nahatak.

Yes, 85 and up na. At para lang maconsider pa yan ha, hindi pa sureball. Pahirapan na ngayon :neutral:

Oo kasi nadagdagan din yung points sa partner or single section..

65 pts kasi na yan, that's only for you to be eligible to lodge an Expression of Interest (EOI). But then, higher the points the higher you chance to get invited. So, you have to aim for more than 65.

And yun nga, nowadays, 85 and up na yung nai-invite..
