Requirements for applications for Australian citizenship (Conferral, General eligibility or Other situations)
The following requirements apply to the period of time you have held a permanent Australian visa.

You need an overseas penal clearance certificate if:

the total time you spent overseas adds up to 12 months or more, and
the total time you spent in one country adds up to 90 days or more.
If this applies to you, provide an overseas penal clearance certificate from each country where you spent a total of 90 days or more in.
We could also ask you to provide a certificate in other circumstances.

Number of dependents for application: (1) Wife and (4) Children aged 15,13,12 and 7

CITIZENSHIP APPLICATIONS:

Application submitted / received: Myself with 4 children dependents below 16 years old (8-Nov) Application submitted / received: Our 16 yo eldest daughter (22-Nov)

Application submitted / received: Our youngest 1 year old natural Aussie born baby (26-Nov) Approval of citizenship: Our youngest 1 year old baby (30-Nov)

Citizenship interview & test invitation: Myself (23-Dec); set on 05-Feb-2021 Application submitted / received: Wife (23-Dec)

Just received wife’s appointment interview and sit in test schedule this arvo. She is set on the 26th Feb...also do I guys have an idea if my 16 year old daughter shall also be taking the test as well? I also filed her application separately. God is so good!

16 yo daughter’s citizenship got approved last January 18. Opened my immi account, last week pa pala. Thank God!

Hello guys, just completed my Citizenship test yesterday and it went well - passed! Take my advise...just listen to the podcast on “our common bond” before the day of your exam from their website. It will take you less an hour to complete for the 5 module tracks. Just do your part and pray. Good luck to all! Just waiting for the family’s pledge ceremony now. Cheers! 😊

@katniss you shall be fine as long as you cover the “our common bond” online material. For me, I listened to the audio podcast in several sections for your easy listening. I just internalised the part on the government parliamentary system for judicial, executory and legislation aspects which I think is the part where you need to focus on.

There are available practice test apps downloadable via ios or android that you can use for practice. The app made it easier for me to remember key items that will most likely appear in the exam.
