mikeez. Hello. Question lang po. Which one will be the best pathway po to take? yung case ko po is ganto. I have an Australian boyfriend, and we've been dating for over 1.5 years now. We are planning to lodge TV then get married onshore. But the question po is, for the BVA, (lets say I have been granted 1 year multiple entry, 3mos each) mag take effect po ba siya after 3 mos of staying or after my TV expires which is 1 year? If after ng 1 year po, need pa po ba mag extend ng stay after 3mos? If we lodge PMV300, will my current job affect the processing time? I am assessed po under EA as Telecom Network Engr. I also have a sister living in regional victoria. If my boyfriend flies to the Philippines and we get married here, would it be quicker to apply for Partners Visa offshore, apply for travel exemption, then convert it onshore (kung possible po), than to wait for the borders to open then get married in Australia? Sorry po and daming questions. Medyo naguguluhan po kasi kami. Maraming salamat po.

So lets say expired na si TV then u will be on BV. Your current job will not affect the processing time. Once you lodge your app and received by the department then ur app is on queue for processing. Currently pmv processing time is 16 to 29 months. Right now 309 offshore visa are being prioritized by home affairs. Please take note that you cannot convert offshore to onshore application. If you wish to do offshore then you have to leave AU for it to be granted. While onhore you must be in AUstralia. Also if you will apply for offshore and paid for that 7k and later on decided to do onshore you will then again pay another 7k good as new application. Hope this help hope someone can also enlighten about tv to bv..

I think onshore is better since you will be with your partner Au. I myself did pmv but due to covid no luck for a grant yet and would still have to for boarders to open.

Reet Hi everyone - we applied for PMV 300 in sept 2020 my partner is off shore. Was anyoneโs visa approved recently? My lawyer suggested to apply for tourist visa as it will be approved sooner than PMV 300.
