Student Visa July 2021 Intake

Hi everyone! COVID-19 has made me cancel any travel plans including applying for a student visa. Just wanted to make this thread for anyone who might be thinking about taking the student visa pathway next year 😊

Me!! Plan ko sana Feb intake. If magopen na ang border. Currently, nagaapply palang ako sa Uni.

ako po may offer letter na from regional uni... kaso di ko pa po ina-accept (yung fees na need bayaran)..heheh

Just curious, how much would you need to cash out for Uni?

More than 24k po yun fees payable with acceptance.. CourseFee for initial year+StudentServices+OSHC..

Hi @chemron9400.. Ngtry lng tlga ako.. Swerte din may offer letter.. Kaso ang mahal tlga.. March 2021 intake ako.. May ilan months pa to see if we can pool the funds. Hehe..

Master of Scientific Studies po Major in Chemistry sa UNE.. Ksama na dito yun OSHC(family).. I think mahal sya gawa ng mga lab classes..

wow thsats very good po.. plan ko rin po tlga mag student visa plan ko sana ung masters of chemical analysis and lab management sa macquire Univ pero di ko pa alam paano ko bayaran ung tuition hahaha ang mahal and im not sure kung pwede partr time study kasi ang nakalagay is full time lang eh..magkano po tuition nyo?

Hi @chemron9400, check mo sa knila..If may live chat, better. Kasi yun sakin 2yrs and full time yun offer... Dun din ata mag-base si DHA kung ilan years validity ng SV mo.. Tapos yun process ng application, I think meron din sila student portal. I think mas mahaltuition sa macquarie.. 😅😅.. 33k per yr un tuition sakin. Di pa tlga ako sure if i-accept ko. 😅

thanks sa reply. oo nakita ko po ung sau sa UNE 6 yrs nga pag part time.. Sa macquire kasi 39k per year haha medyo mahal nga pero un ang gusto ko sana e pursue sa masters kaso wala sa ibang school sa Macquire at UNSW lang mga mahal naman haha... im not sure kung part time job salary makaka sustain sa tuition fee and needs lol..

If you have a partner that can work as well for sure makakasustain naman po for Masters pero sa mga single or walang support from relatives or family medjo mahirap. Pahirapan na nga yong tuition kahit VET Lang how much more for uni. But it would help you din kase esp for post grad study matic na for application no need na mag pa assess to get post grad visa unlike VET.

Regional kase is mas madali makakuha ng points for PR and additional 5 points. Yan plan ng mga classmates namin lilipat regional to get the extra 5 points.

try mo din sa UNE.. un din nakita kong advantage sa knya e.. regional kasi sya..

Thanks @lunarcat Im still single kaya baka mahirapan ako sa tuition haha.. ang points ko sa ngayon is 75 points with proficient PTE so kung e superior ko is 85 points na then kung mag take ako ng naati is 90 points kung visa 190 is 95 points..

Yes, the downside of having a partner during application is yong gastos niyo for insurance pwedi naman daw single kunin for each. Then, cost of living, if di kayo mapili you can rent a room for couples naman so makakasave na din. Your partner can also add points for PR application din. Just ask Lang din if she can study for short courses like aged care, cookery, etc para makawork siya.
