491 May 2020 invite - documents incomplete due to COVID

Hi guys,

I received an invite yesterday for 491 Visa (Victoria). I am a Registered Nurse. One of the required docs to be submitted is NBI from PH. Mine expired Jan 2020. I am not able to request for renewal due to COVID, closed pa rin yung office ng NBI.

I have called DHA, they gave me an email. Kaya lang gusto ko na sana maglodge since yun lang kulang ko na doc. Any insights on this?

@kdrodriguez pwde ka maglodge kahit wala ka pa NBI. To follow mo na lang pag naka request ka na.

Category po kasi ng NBI is required, hindi sya yung other docs. Kaya nag iisip ako papano.

Oks lang po yan. Ganun din samin nun after 1.5 mos p ako naka provide kasi galing pa middle east.. Ganun naman ginagawa talaga kasi madali ma expire yan gaya ng medical, lodge muna then upload pag anjn na.

Check nyo kung ilang months ang processing time ng 491. Yan ang estimated number of months para ma grant.

Onshore po ba kayo or off-shore? If onshore, execute a Statutorty Declaration (Character) witnessed by a JP. If offshore, execute an affidavit using the text of Statutory Declaration and add some text as to why NBI clearance cannot be renewed. A lawyer or notary public can help you with this plus have it notarized. Then submit the document with the expired NBI Clearance.

57-71 days ang processing visa after case officer allocation .

Since General Community Quarantine na ang Philippines, I believe magpopost na sila ng sched para sa nbi and sa nationwide health system.

Hirap lang pumunta ng hospital ngayon especially sa metro manila.

I have received an email last May 07 informing me that my application is in the hands of the case officer and currently in progress. The email stated is her first name and Position number. I frontloaded everything during the lodgment process.

Immigration highly recommends to supply medical and police clearance at a latter stage as these are time sensitive documents. Especially given the impact of covid19 on processing, best to delay providing these documents.
