not sure sa ibang states pero kasi quarterly ang singilan sa nsw. kaya kung nagstart siguro ang kontrata na patapos na ung 3 month cycle eh dun papasok ung estimate. next quarterly statement more or less normal na ang consumption.

@Jaero - i think i know where you are coming from BUT IN MY CASE KASI - ang estimate was on the previous meter reading (otherwise known as the meter reading when you started your contract)... Hindi mo na po iyan pwede mabalikan, eheheeh!! π
If you get an accurate reading from the start of contract and the current reading will just be an estimate based on the average, okey lang iyan... The next time they will get the actual reading, it will eventually average out and you will pay more (or even less) depending on your actual consumption.
Ganito yung usual cases sa Singapore eh; every month ang billing but they don't get the reading every month but rather every other month. But they always ensure na at the start of our contract, the actual reading was measured.
