Hello guys ..thanks for sharing the links . got the subclass 190 this June lang po and just like you started the job hunting game..but so far no luck...🙁 ... to our senior members of this thread ..totoo po ba or just an urban myth na thin ang chance kapag nag apply off shore?

its not a myth but a reality. Employer will disregard offshore applicants kung available nman sa australia yung applicants which most likely pr/citizen na so tanggal sakit ulo for them sa processing time, addtl cost, etc. They will prefer those with local experience as it is obvious, dahil no more major adjustments for applicants and employers.
Another factor is how specialised is your work and extensive your experience. Kung highly extensive and specialised then employer will undergo the painstaking tasks of sponsoring the applicants. So kung medyo generic ang qualifications/ job scope/ industry of your specialisation/ medyo mahirap tlaga. Im sure theres a lot of qualified and jobless migrants available in Australia who are looking for a job everyday.
Another big factor is mostly sa job sites, the advertiser is(are) agencies/ headhunters who are competing with eah other on selling applicants to their company clients. They will definitely consider only those with available visa. Other cases are only exceptional as i mentioned above.
