189 or 190

Hello Guys,

I've tried to look online the difference between 189 and 190 application. As per sa nabasa ko, they have similar process naman pero meron sila pagkakaiba. Appreciate everyone who has inputs on this. Thank you ☺️

Both are point tested but visa 189 is direct Australian invite - You don't need to find a Territory to invite and nominate you. With this PR visa, you can live anywhere in Australia without territory commitment. The catch, it's more EOI competitive and has fewer eligible occupations.

Subclass visa 190 is a state nomination visa - You will need an Australian territory to invite and nominate you first to apply for a PR visa. The territory will ask you to commit to their territory and you cannot live and work outside it for a specified period of time.

Hi po, sa visa 190 po ba meron pa additional na gagawin aside sa pag lodge ng EOI sa skillselect? need ba mag tap sa Australian territory and apply?

Depende po sa state. Sa ngayon, ang alam ko VIC, SA, at ACT ang need pumunta sa website nila para magregister ng Registration of Interest, yung ibang state basta naka select ang EOI mo sa state eh goods na. Check each state's website po para sa instructions.

Is it recommended po ba to select a state or have it as "any state" for greater reach?

Depende ulit sa state 😃 NSW specifically mentioned na dapat NSW lang ang nakaselect sa EOI mo:

Kaya karamihan 1 EOI per state talaga ginagawa to be on the safe side

SA removed their ROI requirement this current migration program for GSM pathway.

@RheaMARN1171933 I am currently waiting for my 489 visa grant. Would it be possible to apply for 189 simultaneously? What if my 489 was granted will my 189 application automatically cancelled or I can still wait for my 189 visa approval to supersede my 489 visa?
