186 Direct Entry Question

Hello, I would like to seek your advice. We're offshore and not currently employed under any Australian company. My husband's an electrical engineer while I'll be his dependent (also a skilled worker). Our work experience is around 8 years. Ages are within the bracket of highest visa points. Skills assessments are ongoing processing.

For those successful applicants who has same case as ours, where can you find employers that could sponsor 186 DE visa? Any recommended job search engines? Also, what are the chances of offshore applicant to secure a 186 DE visa?

Check out Seek, Indeed, Jora. If your skills are on the PMSOL you may be able to get offers. While 186 DE is ideal, maybe also consider 482 or 491.

@mrs_hopeful its rare nowadays for 186DE to be offered to off shore candidates. Most of them are offered to those who are in Au and already working here hence nakakausap na nila employer nila ng direct

Oh, i see.. bale po mas common ang 482 ibibigay ni employer then 186 DE bahala ka na magprocess..? And pwede sya maprocess kahit di pa 3yrs, meaning yung 3yrs po is accumulated ng both Australia and non-Australia work experience?

Good day po. Sa Visa 186 DE, need ba na 3 years ka dapat mag stay sa company na mag sponsor sayo or accumulated na yon both onshore and offshore work experience or onshore experience lang alone? Thank you sa sasagot🙂

Direct entry means derechong PR pero merong at least 3 years experience.

if visa 186 or TSS or employer sponsor, paano po ang process to apply the Partner po? I checked the average processing time for Partner Visa (provisional), matagal ang processing.

Is this a good option: pasok muna as Student Visa ang partner, then we can apply Partner Visa later when settled onshore? Thank you!

For employer sponsored visas, you just need to make sure that your dependent(s) [spouse, de facto partner, child(ren)] are indicated in the employer nomination. If unmarried, you will have to prove the existence of the de facto relationship.

Partner visa is a separate category/process... usually to bring a partner/spouse when you are a citizen or a resident and you want to bring the person in a relationship with you to the country.

Hello, just wanna check aside from the application form submitted online, is there any other form that we can add to 186 Visa lodgement, or the the application form is enough? our application was submitted by our migration agent and found few errors. Thank you po sa pwedeng makasagot.

i am not sure if this is the right discussion that i can ask my inquiry. there's an employer that's willing to sponsor me with visa 482. gusto ko sana malaman yun requirement na "adequate health insurance", magprovide kaya yan ang employer for me? or do i need to pay it myself?
