If you have the money to spare, go for it. Pero if tight talaga and you don't want to risk paying again, wait ka na lang po for CO contact. There is no true better option between the two, all depends on your finances at priorities. The only reason people do it in advance is to hopefully maiwasan na yung CO contact at mapabilis somehow yung processing ng application nila. Kapag kasi may CO request pa, gagalaw ka ulit tapos su-submit mo then ipo-process pa ulit.
I would personally say do it in advance and just earn the money back while waiting for your grant/big move. Yung recent processing times ng 190 is for their latest set of completed applications, and yung time na indicated dun is based sa age ng visa applications (so 90% of applications are 36 months old, which seems like they're clearing backlogs na). So not a true indicator of how long it will take for your application to be processed. And tingin ko po iiksi yan eventually once they clear the backlogs (but again just a guess).

Hi! Not sure if same sa iba po pero yung samin is Jan 13 kami nag lodge then Jan 27 may s56 request na for medicals. 🙂

I am seeing multiple posts that those who lodged around Oct last year were getting their grants this Feb, so maybe aaround 4 months now.

But of course, not the case for priority occupations in health and teaching which could be less than a month even.

Hello, may mga fellow Electrical Engineers ba dito? Nagrant na kaya sila? Hehe we lodged Oct 22 and still waiting. so far ang nakikita kong grants ay Mechanical and Civil pa lang.

sana po talaga mga 4 months. naglodged ako ng Dec 2022. mga til MAY nagmamanifest ako n dadating na ung grant haha <3

Good day po sa lahat. Habang nag aantay po ng ITA from NSW. May mga questions lang po ako about sa pag aapply ng visa.

May visa refusal po ako noong October 2022 (Student visa) due to weak GTE. Makaka affect po ba ito sa application ng PR?
Sa pag prove po ng functional english ni spouse. Okay lang po ba na CEMI lang muna ang ipasa and kapag nag hingi nalang si CO ng english exam, tsaka palang mag take ng PTE? (Medyo nang hihinayang po kasi sa fee ng PTE)
Wala din po bang magiging issue kapag ang ginamit na CC pang bayad sa visa fee ay hindi sa akin. Relative ko po sa Australia ang mag babayad if ever.
Magagamit ko pa po ba ung medical ko nung nag apply ako ng student visa. Or much better na mag pa medical nalang po kami ulit ng bago?

May part sa visa lodging na inaask kung narefuse ka na ng visa before. I don't think makaka affect naman to sa PR
I read some people submitted CEMI pero hinanapan din ng PTE eventually. Wait for other's inputs

Sa PR medicals need ng additional test like HIV so di ata magagamit yung student visa medical

ikaw gumawa nung health declaration mo or agent? may nabasa kasi ako na blog na wala raw talaga sa options yung visa 190 at pde piliin ung 189 instead. so gusto ko lang sana ma-confirm sa iba kung totoo yun.
