Same with my husband! Yan ata maging first destination nmin once magrant ang PR. Gusto nya jan dahil sa Lord of the Rings. HAHAHA 😃

Not only visit, pwede ka rin mag work and live sa NZ straight away with an AU PR, pero siyempre affected ang residency count mo sa AU for naturalisation purposes and respect na rin sa AU na nag grant sayo ng PR. haha

@rurumeme kaya ako napunta sa pagaayos sa AU kasi iniisip ko po pag citizen na ako makakapunta din ako ng NZ. Yun pala kahit PR lang. huhu.

@Cerberus13 oo nga po. Haha. Pero mas gusto ko po ma-citizen agad sa AU. Kaysa po sa NZ. Lalo po mahirap din maghanap work ngayon sa NZ.

No need to update. As per my agent, the application details are already locked-in once it is lodged.

However, if DHA contacts your now previous employer (if you did resign) and they confirmed that you're no longer with them, DHA might ask you for your latest employment details through s56 request - which means additional back-and-forth and waiting for you.

I was also tempted to transfer companies while waiting for my grant, but opted to stay put (and endure it, haha) to minimize further delays.

Feeling ko (again feeling), mabilis ang grants ng 189 kasi baka gusto nila inanalyze which state ang dagsa ng PR after grant, therefore they can do proper state allocations for 190.

In my case, I did not. They granted my visa without them.

I think most people front load them kahit di hinihingi, di kasi ko nag mamadali for the grant kaya I opted to just wait, but they granted it anyway. As I've said sa other thread, di ko sure kung sino ba nirerequire talaga ng forms na yan. haha
