Jan 2024 - New job

Nag change employer din ako after lodgement. Hindi din ako nag claim ng points for that, na update ko na lang siya nung naka received ako ng s56 for form80. Wala naman naging problema at ayun last s56 ko ay for remedical na 😃 , lahat ng activities ko (change address, change employer, travel) sa form80 ko na nailagay.

As long as you're not claiming points for that employment. Okay lang yan.

Total= 19,152.

The Migration Planning Level for 190 (grants quota) for this FY is 33,000.

33,000-19,152= 13,848 grants remaining.

Remove 20% for priority occupations: 0.2*13,848=2,770

The remaining grant quota is 13,848-2770=11,078 for this FY.

Visa applications on hand according to month-by-month lodgments:

May 2023 is 2,162

June 2023 is 4,879

Jan 2022-April 2023 is 647

Total: 7,688

Assuming 90% of this 7,688 is granted (6,920) since there are always some leftovers carried forward due to reasons like complex cases, we are left with 4,158 grants (11,078-6920)

Visa applications on hand according to month-by-month lodgments for FY 2023-2024

July 2023 is 1,087

August 2023 is 472

September 2023 is 1,465

October 2023 is 1,151

The total for these four months is 4,175

This is where the grants could end for this FY

The remainder of October 2023 and November 2023 would resume from July 2025.

Ok po, I have the same estimated points. However, Im still waiting for my EA assessment outcome. I nominated Mechanical Engineer as my occupation because all of my work experience, job descriptions, and career episodes are related to Mechanical Engineering. However, EA assessed me as an Industrial Engineer because of my bachelor’s degree. Im currently awaiting my verified and stamped tax documents, which I need to submit in response to their additional comment. Sana maginf positive po. 🥺

Andame na side discussions about dito sa 189, kasi around 7k na lang yung remaining allocations before Dec 2024, tapos andame pang na grant na visas ng family this January, and yung processing time line ay unti unting tumataas.

General concession is 189 applicants who lodge their visas, that was invited last Nov 7, farther from their 60 days grace period to apply, will most likely receive their grants on the next FY. We are now seeing singles get their grants from those that lodged their visa applications on October 18-25th, so we might begin seeing singles from Nov 7 invites by the start of February.

Sabi nila, they processed the families first to avoid the sharp increase in their processing timelines since they technically finished more applications that are lumped together but ultimately shrank the numbers of application on hand by 3’s or more.

Another speculation is that, a future 189 round will ofc offset the grants to priority occupations making the non prio occupations from Nov 7 grants be granted their visa next FY.

A lot in the air, and talks about another reduced grant allocations for next year to appease voters are being tossed din sa discussion.

Still, hopeful for our visa grants to come soon.
